"Annonce quelque peu trompeuse, vous ne serez pas au milieu des vignes, vous ne les verrez même pas de votre logement.Vous serez au bord d'une route très passante ou les gens roulent à grande vitesse. Vous aurez les bruits de roulement incessants si vous comptez manger dehors.La décoration très "anglaise" est assez particulière...Si vous avez des animaux de compagnie attendez vous à ce qu'on vous demande un caution de 500 euros à votre arrivée !La piscine est vraiment très bien ! "Very nice English influenced clean house. Big garden with all the privacy. Private parking just next to the house. We had very nice chats with the owner. Because of a bit rainy weather sometimes we didn't use the swimming pool much, but the pool was very big and nice to swim in. Thanks Chris and Gill for this lovely week!"

"Nous avons partagé une très joyeuse semaine au château de Moncla entre amis. Les enfants ont adoré profiter de la grande piscine mais également de l’ambiance chevaleresque du château. Les grands se sont régalés avec le terrain de tennis, ombragé une grande partie de la journée, avec la table de ping pong, la grande cuisine, le piano et la fraîcheur du château durant les fortes chaleurs. "Tout s’est très bien passé et l’environnement est paisible et calme. Pour nous qui souhaitions assister au festival de Marciac, le lieu est un peu isolé et éloigné pour rentrer le soir. L’aménagement est minimaliste. Les chambres sont dans les combles avec velux (pas de fenêtre sur les beaux paysages). Une seule salle de bain pour 3 chambres …. Et pas de WC séparé … peu pratique quand on est 5 adultes. Pas de commerce proches même pour dépanner en produits de base. Mais les propriétaires sont...

"Nous étions 5 adultes et un enfant de dernière minute, mais Simon et Paulette nous ont accueilli sans soucis. Nous venions pour le RPGers à plaisance qui est à 15 min en voiture, C'était parfait ! On n'a malheureusement pas profité de la piscine partagée autant qu'on l'aurait souhaité à cause du temps, mais celle ci avait l'air super. Merci ! "

"Unser Aufenthalt hatte im Wesentlichen den Zweck, an der Hochzeit unserer Tochter im Dorf Bassoues teilzunehmen. "No air-conditioning — while this is perhaps mentioned somewhere, we did not notice when booking. We spent two nights there, with daily highs around 40 Celsius. 4m ceilings and stone walls help somewhat, but still, not very comfortable. The bathroom lacks shelving and counter space. Lastly, we booked an Armagnac tour and experience, but apparently the person who does it is not working on Tuesdays. One of the staff members opened the place for us and explained a few things, but still again: why take a reservation for something you know you cannot do. Of the nice things: The grounds are nice, we enjoyed walking through the vineyards in the mornings. The starters at the dinner were also exceptional. The staff were friendly and it felt like home. "

It is minutes away from Condom and Romieu, an hour or so from Auch - and in the midst of a number of Armagnac distilleries to discover.
