Palads Hotel Viborg June 2024

The receptionist was very helpful; he directed us to park the motorbike in a safe area within lockable hotel grounds. Room was large, clean and well-appointed. We didn’t test the en suite sauna or whirlpool bath but the shower was good and the bed comfortable. On thisi occasion it suited us that it was a room-only booking so we could skip breakfast and get on the road.

Great location, bathroom needs deep cleaning

Hotel location is great and the breakfast was wonderful! Linens were clean and the room was clean and tidy. BUT the bathroom!!! It was "surface" clean, but there was mold in the grout in the shower and on the floor and walls. Yuck!

It's a toss-up.

With Palads hotel, it is all about the room you are going to get. One of their buildings is newer and has nicer rooms. Other buildings have moldy, smelly rooms that reek of mold and old age. We stayed in all of them as we were stuck in Viborg for a week due to a family emergency.

An original hotel in the city center of Viborg. The room was nice and had everything you need. Everyone was very nice at the hotel, but the reception closed around 8 pm and there was no service during the night. At my early morning check out I could not get my bill, because the person responsible for the computer were not arriving until 8 am.

Trænger i den grad til at blive renoveret. Og gjort ren. Badeværelset var især slemt, med rust på varmeapparatet, kalkaflejring på fliser og i fugerne. Og toilettet kunne godt bruge et toiletbræt der passede, så det blev liggende når man satte sig. Og hvis toiletkummen så var ren og ikke brun i bunden. Men sengetøjet var rent.

Værelse 301 var næsten ubeboligt. Men da vi kun skulle være der et døgn orkede vi ikke at påtale det. Badeværelset nærmest uhumsk. Lugtede af mug. I kanterne var der belægninger der mindede om skimmelsvamp. Meget slap vandstråle til håndvasken. Bruseren elendig. Ingen varme på badeværelse. Gulvet iskoldt. Værelse 101 tåleligt. Genrelt var hotellet nusset. Trænger i høj grad til en kærlig hånd.
