Casa Chique, Alcáçovas

Casa Chique is located in the historic center of the village of Alcáçovas. It is a house of the century. XIX completely restored and decorated with charm, it has an enclosed garden, which allows a quiet stay with privacy. It is perfect for a family holiday or with friends and weekends in the countryside.
Located 30 km from Évora, 30 km from Montemor-o-Novo, it is 1 hour 30 minutes from Lisbon. Its location allows access on foot, to cafes, restaurants, local commerce and other services.
The Casa Chique consists of 2 floors and attic. Guests can enjoy the 1st floor and attic, as well as a large garden with citrus orchard.
The house recalls other times of family life due to the furniture and objects it maintains.
On the 1st floor, it has a large living room and direct access to a living room and kitchen, as well as the attic and balcony / garden. It has 4 rooms: 2 double and 2 singles; 2 full bathrooms and access to the attic. This has a double bedroom and bathroom and allows access to a small viewpoint with views of the whole village.
The kitchen is equipped with everything necessary for cooking, has a stove, microwave and washing machine. All bed linen and towels are provided.

The house is located in the village of Alcáçovas, where the famous Treaty of Peace of the Alcáçovas - Toledo in the now renamed Paço dos Henriques was signed. It is also distinguished by the famous art of Rattle manufacture (with Unesco seal).
There are many places to visit, such as the municipal swimming pools, the Mother Church, the Paço dos Henriques, the Ermida de São Geraldo and various points of interest such as the convent of Nossa Senhora da Esperança and Ermida do Senhor da Pedra, São Teotónio and the Rattle Museum.
It is advisable the local gastronomy and sweets and several walks.
The position of the village of Alcáçovas in the region allows numerous walks to villages such as Escoural, Monsaraz, Montemor-o-Novo, Viana do Alentejo, Torrão, the dam of Gaio Valley and the city of Évora and even Lisbon.
