"We were greeted by the owner…she very graciously showed us around the hotel and gave us a room with a view of the New River. She was very welcoming. The 1902 building has been beautifully restored. The room was great…as a side note, she told us that they would be opening a steakhouse in town in a couple of weeks. The space worked very well for us as a couple. Note that they have rooms and dining options available for scheduling an event for friends and family."

"House was as advertised. Was very convenient for getting to all the downtown shops and could have easily walked. The house welcome book and I believe the online description mention this, which were spot on, in that the only downside of this house is backing out of the driveway onto road. It's kind of tricky with the 4-lane road and being on a hill. Other than that, everything was perfect."

"The cabin is a wonderful place to stay. The bed is super comfortable, the towels are soft, the kitchen is equipped, and everything is clean. Check-in was simple, parking was ample, and communication with the host was fantastic. I loved the beautiful fall decorations throughout the rooms.
