"It was well maintained and quiet with beautiful scenery. The large kitchen was fully equipped. The rooms were light and airy. We are planning our next trip to stay there again."
"Celebrated my mum’s 80th birthday at the property with 4 generations. We had the best weekend. Beautiful spacious home with scenic surrounds. We loved the fire pit, kayaks, space to play footy and cricket with the kids and the wildlife. Hosts were wonderful to communicate with and answered all our questions. One of the highlights was feeding the horses with the owner. A lovely family holiday! "
"The tranquility is perfect! Tucked away from people, unwanted traffic of any type, the property offers that ambiance. Lots of vegetation and with that comes the noises of fauna: early morning birds, frogs ....lot's of wildlife if you like and enjoy it. Located far away from the nearest beach, lots of mosquitos ( wetlands around ) and frogs. Need to be careful at night not to step of the lovely hoppers. Sheets and beds were clean but everything else not so clean. The living area and the kitchen had a lot of dust, spider webs, cabinets not clean also. The living area furniture and the deck furniture is very old and unkept. Needs a good clean as well. No A/C in the main living area. No where to hide inside from the devouring mosquitoes in the evenings. Very hot inside. It has ceiling fans but they don't do the cooling on hot days and evenings. Quite uncomfortable! The price is not justified.I would not book again this property. "
"Our stay was absolutely delightful. The location, right by the serene lake and surrounded by lush greenery, provided a perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of daily life.
The house itself was cozy and well-maintained, blending rustic charm with modern amenities. We especially loved starting our mornings on the deck with coffee, watching the sunrise over the lake. Evenings by the fireplace were equally relaxing, offering a warm and inviting ambiance.
The retreat also offered plenty of outdoor activities. We enjoyed kayaking on the lake and exploring nearby nature trails, which added a touch of adventure to our otherwise tranquil stay.
If you're looking for a peaceful getaway to reconnect with nature, this lakeside retreat is a hidden gem we highly recommend!
