Hotel San Marco Verona

Great stay! Great pool as well & the breakfast and room were both excellent. Only thing being I couldnt get the shower to go hot it was luke warm. Apart from that it was great!

The front desk person was not friendly or welcoming. The room is comfortable and a decent size. The air conditioner works well. The workout facility is very nice but too warm. No air conditioning. Hotel is about a 30 minute walk from city center.

Hotel staff were welcoming, room was nice, easy to walk into Verona itself. Parking was under hotel which was really good. We were only there for one night so didn’t really use facilities but gym looked good.

Staff was very friendly and helpful. Very well trained. Pool was great ammenity to have after walks to and in the city center during hot and humid July. Easy access to public transportation and dining options.

Great service minded receptionist, on arrival we were given a room with a very noisy aircon, I talked to her and she immediately moved us to a renovated room. Great service, friendly staff, good location in walkable distance to the old city and with a relaxing pool area!

We had a lovely stay at Hotel San Marco Fitness Pool and Spa. The hotel staff were very pleasant, willing and happy to help. The hotel was clean. Bathrooms were very modern. Rooms were clean and adequate. The spa was not open during summer which we were aware of but during summer months the pool was open outside with sun loungers which was nice. The pool was clean. Good range of food at breakfast. There was a bus station about a 30 Devine walk from hotel where you could get the bus into Verona centre which was very convenient. Overall this is a very nice hotel stay.

Ok but not 4 star

Hotel was nice and clean staff friendly. It was a fair way out of the centre which meant limited options for dinner locally. There was no ability to have dinner at the hotel unless part of an organised group. we booked this hotel for the spa facilities but when we came to use those facilities we were told the spa was closed.

Everyone was friendly and welcoming. Breakfast was good and plentiful. (I want their coffee machine.) Property may have seen better days. Room was clean, but inviting jetted tub was at issue. Hard to get in and out, grouting was shot, shower had little water pressure. Everything we wanted to do was a 20-30 minute walk.

Mostly good...

We booked this hotel because of its Spa and fitness facilities. Unfortunately, we were told at check-in that these Hotel facilities are not available from 1st June, which we didn't know and it wasn't clearly indicated during the booking process. Dear Hotel staff, please amend the title to indicate Spa/Fitness only available during the winter. There is a good bus service into the city and railway station and travel card available for 3 days. Otherwise, mostly good breakfast, apart from the cooked food section. The pastries were excellent though. Very friendly staff, especially at breakfast - very helpful. Also we enjoyed the fun jacuzzi in the room. ***Correction: At checkout we were told that the fitness was in fact open all the time, only the Spa was closed - too late as we had finished our stay. Communication could be better.
