Check in is easy!

A number of people have commented on check-in. With my rudimentary Italian and Google Translate, I called 24 hours ahead and had a lovely conversation. We actually arrived 2 hours ahead of when we planned, and we met the hotel owner and got the keys within about 10 minutes. Location is absolutely spot on for the Arena, Bra, buses, the old city, bars and restaurants.

Posizione ottimale per visitare la città, proprietari cortesi, (è stato possibile lasciare i bagagli sia prima del check-in che dopo il checkout), camera ampia e materasso comodo. Buona la colazione con vario assortimento di prodotti. Disponibili sia materiale per caffè o te che i cuscini per l'arena. Già pensato di tornare il prossimo anno.

La camera é carina e luminosa , la colazione buona , Il luogo curato e accogliente . Unica nota negativa , il rumore della strada , ci si sveglia alle 5:00 di mattina con i mezzi della nettezza urbana. Per quanto riguarda la camera , spaziosa e ben arredata , mancano solo uno scrittoio con una sedia ed uno specchio, Lo spazio ci sarebbe, così non mancherebbe proprio niente ! Antonella e Michelle

Per cause di comunicazione tra Expedia e il b&b, non abbiamo potuto soggiornare presso L'Accademia, ma il gestore, sig. Tiziano, si è prodigato a trovarci un'altra sistemazione adeguata per il nostro soggiorno. Molto cortese e disponibile.

Antes de viajar le dije que a lo mejor llegaba más tarde de las 22:00 horas y me contestó que me esperaba sin peoblemas, además como salíamos muy temprano nos dejó abierto el pequeño comedor para que desayunamos nos pareció un detalle, nos ofreció pagar con tarjeta pero al final preferí en metalico, en general todo limpio súper bien ubicado y para repetir

Attenzione, chiamate prima di arrivare

Purtroppo non abbiamo potuto pernottare nella struttura prenotata. Mentre eravamo in viaggio per il B&B abbiamo chiamato per informazioni e ci hanno detto che non risultava la prenotazione e che comunque le camere erano piene. Dopo pochi minuti la prenotazione l'avevano trovata ma ci hanno dovuti dirottare presso altra struttura, B&B Sweet Verona, che era un po' più lontana dal centro. Presso B&B Sweet Verona (sembrava appena ristrutturato) ci hanno accolti e subito informati che non si poteva effettuare il pagamento con carte/bancomat. La camera era molto grossa, pulita e ben arredata ma peccava di difetti di manutenzione ordinaria. La tapparella non scendeva completamente, rubinetto del bagno non era fissato e usciva solo un filo di acqua calda (la fredda era abbondante), il doccino era montato ad un'altezza di circa 1.50 m. La colazione era si abbondante ma con dei MA. 1. Caffè, cappuccino, cioccolata, ecc... della macchinetta. 2. Brioches, biscotti, pane ecc... confezionati (discount). 3. Vista la scarsità di posti a sedere e tazze l'ultimo giorno abbiamo dovuto attendere qualche minuto in modo che venissero lavate le stoviglie e per non attendere ulteriormente abbiamo fatto colazione in camera (c'era un tavolino con 2 sedie).

This was by far the worst experience I’ve had!!! I booked many hotels and had no issues but this hotel was the most frustrating. The train was delayed so we missed our connection. Check in closes at 10pm. I emailed and also text the hotel that I would arrive on time but right around 9:45. I arrived at 9:45 but they closed. I called and the lady answered. I told her we are down stairs and she would not let us in. She said Check in closes at 9 and I said the website said 10. She was awake and we had nowhere else to go. I asked her to let us in since we already had booking. She hung up on me. I called many other times but did not answer and left us stranded. Had to walk around for over an hour looking for another hotel. Terrible service. Just really awful thing she did. I would not recommend this hotel period!!!

No nos dieron lo que reservamos

Hice la reserva con 5 meses de anticipación y cuando llegamos no encontrabamos el hotel porque nos cambiaron de edificio. El hotel donde nos tocó no tenía colchones sino colchonetas, muy incomodas. La señora nos rebajó 10 euros por el cambio de hotel pero esto no es cuestion de dinero sino que te deben dar lo que reservas. Es una falta de respeto y de buena organización

sehr hübsches B&B zentral gelegen

Wir waren zu dritt für zwei Nächte im B&B. Drei-Bett-Zimmer hübsch und ausreichend Platz. Ideale Lage für Besuch der Arena und Besichtigungen in Verona. B&B im 4. Stock. Mit Aufzug. Ankunft im Vorfeld abstimmen, damit zur Schlüsselübergabe jemand vor Ort ist. Besitzerin sehr freundlich. Verständigung mit italienisch und englisch. Geparkt kann in TG des gegenüberliegenden Supermarktes werden. €15,00/Tag. Garage schließt Nachts, morgens ab 9 Uhr offen. Hat super geklappt. Die Zimmer sind sehr hübsch eingerichtet. Hübsche Aussicht in Innenhof. Sehr ruhig.

The location of the hotel can't be beat. A 2 min walk from Piazza Bra and at most 15mins from all other popular sites. There is also a very nice grocery store across the street. The room was fine, nothing special but comfortable. I visited when it wss very warm and there is not a individual control of the AC in each room which was definitely hard. There was a control in the hallway but it had a sign that said not to touch it. It was also disappointing that there was a strong smell of smoke in the hallways and in the breakfast room. It was clear that there was not supposed to be smoking in the hotel but obviously there were guests ignoring that rule. There is also no 24/7 staff so it was gone unnoticed. It was a decent stay but with all of the options in Verona, I would try and do something different if I went again.
