Unofficial and unreliable Shuttle service beware!
Having booked the Hotel shuttle in advance it was nowhere to be seen on arrival. We had to ask a taxi driver to call the Hotel as we didn’t have a mobile network connection. We walked in the heat to a number of sites around the area in front of the airport arrivals to random locations which were suggested as pick-up points. The shuttle never turned up! In the end, some 30 minutes later, we had to pay for a taxi, the cost of which was admittedly refunded by the Hotel after a ‘difficult’ conversation with the receptionist. During the course of the conversation the receptionist let slip that their unmarked shuttle service was not allowed to enter the airport drop off areas that taxis can access - presumably in an effort to avoid paying fees. We requested a shuttle for the following day which eventually turned up some 15 minutes late (after having chased the receptionist twice) and we were dropped off on the periphery of the airport car park, leaving us to drag our 4 cases several hundred yards to the departures building. Not a great experience for seniors who booked partly on the basis of there being an Hotel shuttle service.

Handy, comfortable, good value
Lovely big room, big bed, fantastic sound-proofing, spotlessly clean. Free drop-off at the airport made it really easy to get an early flight the next day. Beautiful swimming pool area which I had largely to myself. Concrete building is rather unprepossessing from the outside and somewhat characterless, but facilities are great. Restaurant menu was very limited, but I went out to eat at Gourmet Pizza about 5 minutes' walk away which was absolutely fabulous.

The door to my room was broken and did not close. I told the reception staff and they refused to change the room. The cafe - has one price on the menu. Ie, i got w hot chocolate on the menu it is £2.50 when i went to pay she charged me £5 when i questioned it she said “today it is £5” i did not accept this so she charged me £2.50 but sorry this is not okay.

Great hotel to vist Verona and surroundings
Location is perfect to vist Verona city centre and the surroundings (Mantova, Garda Lake, Lessinia natural park) given the proximity to the main road and motorway. Staff at reception was extremely welcoming and overall we had a very nice stay. We didn't try the restaurant but it seems good with traditional local food at very reasonable prices. Breakfast was substandard for a 4-star hotel but it might be due to current the Covid-19 restrictions.

The hotel was nice and conveniently near the airport. But the hotel room was very hot and the A/C system was off. The only way to stay cool was to open a window (which was right next to a cow pasture and smelled quite badly).

Hotel was unable to call a taxi for us and we had to walk 30 mins since our flight came in a few minutes after the last shuttle. We were with a toddler so it was hard to walk in the dark with him.

Convenient location near airport.
Good for a one night stay after flying in late. No complimentary bottled water or coffee making facilities in room, which would have been good in a four star hotel. The noisiest air con we have ever experienced anywhere! It wasn’t even very effective.

Such a terrible experience staying in this hotel. After entering my room (which was very hot) I attempted to adjust the AC only to find out that that its actually controlled by reception. They put limits on what rooms can have full AC and who gets just a spinning fan. I was changed to a bigger room (though I didn't request this) only to find the heat was also unbearable here as well. The outside temperature is 27 degrees and inside the room is 23 degrees. This is deplorable and an outright disgusting way to take advantage of paying customers. I don't think people who pay for the bigger, more expensive rooms are treated as inhumanely as I and I'm sure others are. The staff were not helpful at all and even after requesting a fan to cool myself down, I was turned down. I am not sure who places regulations on hotels for this region but this is a major health hazard as people should not be forced to sweat in heat. The illusion is that all of the rooms have fully functioning AC's but that is far from true. I am currently here and will find it so difficult to sleep at night. I hope that anyone considering staying at this hotel strongly reconsiders their options. With unhelpful/unfriendly staff and subpar rooms, you would be better off at a neighboring hotel or in an AirBnb. I hope that management reads this review and considers my complaint. I don't take things like this lightly and will notify those in charge of hotel/hospitality regulations.
