"I liked the property, it was clean and safe. The shuttle was helpful. The front desk staff were friendly and kind. The buffet was not ready at 6:30 as stated and I had to leave for a tour in 20 minutes, the supervisor asked me to wait, which I did, but then after 5 minutes I saw most of the buffet was prepared minus the hot food, which I was not trying to have. I asked if I could proceed and he was rude, all I wanted was some coffee and fruit and it wasn't my problem it wasn't ready on time. I had a shuttle to catch, it would have been nice if the supervisor understood my situation. I was as patient as I could be given the time constraints."

"Our family absolutely loved our stay at Tamarindo Diria. We are talking about coming back and inviting more family to join us. The hotel is beautiful. Rooms are simple and clean. We relished the ocean view with incredible sunsets and the waves. The breakfest buffet is extensive and fantastic with options for all types of eaters. We loved having the restaurant literally on the beach in the open air and enjoyed not only breakfast but nearly all of our meals there where you are able to order from menus from some of the surrounding establishments. The pool complexes are beautiful too. Parking was easy and staff were incredibly helpful. The beach was the highlight of our trip withsand, warm water, beautiful views and lovely storms at times. We rented surf boards and boogie boards and had excellent service and quality. Above all, the staff of Diria were delightful and we felt very much at home. They were caring and kind, warm and welcoming."

She helped us with everything we needed during our trip. The home is beautiful, spacious and in a great location. Our family loved the outdoor area and pool."

"We loved the property but based on the pictures and seeing the actual property, the property was much older than it appeared. The pictures reflected the pool was right outside but was actually on the adjacent property. We did have a few issues starting on the first night. The shower from the room above leaked badly into the bedroom below. After speaking with Management this has been an ongoing issue for sometime and based on our conversation, that specific building had once been a hotel and was going to have some major updates. Management did move us over to the adjacent building, which was still under construction. While it was nicer, we were on a family trip (group of 11), we were slightly inconvenienced. Unfortunately, more issues came up (I.e. an empty propane bottle, kitchen sink constantly leaked under the counter, and another 2nd floor bathroom shower leaked into the kitchen below). Overall, the property suited our needs with direct access to the beach and able to spend time in the water and watch all the surfers right outside the back doors. The Staff and Management were wonderful regardless of our issues."

"Wonderful stay, beautiful location. Only consideration is if you have small children there is direct access to the pool, with no real way to gate it off. Also, the floor gets extremely slippery when wet, again with kids running around, we had lots of minor slip and falls on wet floors. But all was manageable once we got used to it!"

"This was an unforgettable vacation for our family! We had plenty of room and our kids will forever talk about Anna the house mama that totally spoiled us with great breakfasts and smoothies! The beach is beautiful, waves are great! It was a little trek to the beach. We ended up driving or riding the bikes which was super nice to have. Lots of cute shops and places to eat close by. We miss you Anna already!! "
