"Lovely hotel in a village just a few miles from Venlo. The room was a good size and the bed was very comfortable. I had one of the best nights sleep in months. Breakfast was served downstairs in the restaurant and the cold meats, cheese etc served on a platter, with the bread, croissants etc in a separate basket. Plenty for two people "

Our reception on check-in was pretty abrupt and cool, and we think the receptionist was having a bad day. Other than that, the stay was very good, after considering that it is a pretty rustic hotel in an historic German town - but we liked that."

"It was a 5 day business stay from abroad. It is hard to get around without a taxi or bike. Uber is available but the wait time varies from 15-25 minutes. I had dinner at their restaurant twice. The dinner was great but the service is below average. I found the place to be a bit expensive. The rooms and views were great. I asked for electric kettle to drink hot water but they did not provide and suggested to use Nespresso Coffee Machine which is a bummer. "

"Very clean, nice amenities, lots of farms with horses around if you like that, the service was fine. Everything would have been fine... except for several attempts in the morning to give me a "breakfast", without telling me clearly that it wasn't included, and without telling me it would cost me 14 euros for some eggs, ham and toast - quite an outrageous price. I was very disappointed to find a 3-star hotel engaging in this kind of thing."

"Buitenom stalen trap met te kleine treden om de kamer te bereiken. De bedden werden niet opgemaakt en er werd niet schoongemaakt, ik heb de bediening er op aangesproken maar die vonden dat heel normaal. Na 18.00 uur was er niemand meer en het restaurant gesloten. " Nice styled petached property with everything you need and beautiful park. - Although the park states everywhere for leasure only, no work vans allowed on site, there were builders onsite, sitting outside till midnight and then waking us up at 6am with the large van running its engine on the spot, waiting for various people to be picked up.
