Awesome

This is great house with an amazing location. Minutes from the beaches and downtown. The host Brittany was very nice and responsive. We have no complaints about our stay. Everything was fabulous! We had a good time and so did our dogs!

Family Time

Out-of-town grandson (26) requested a home close to the Gulf, with a private pool, He’s an avid fisherman, so the proximity to the Venice pier was ideal. He also wanted privacy so that he could propose to his long-time girlfriend. She said yes! Their stay in Venice was memorable!

Property condition

Swimming pool not operating properly. Coping loose, very dangerous. Saw a rat twice in pool area. Other than wifi info, there was no other helpful information pertaining to the property or area. Washing machine was inoperable till the 5th day of stay. Needless to say I wouldn't return to this property.

Needs some TLC

The location of the property worked well for our needs, we are familiar with Venice Beach and enjoy all the bike trails. It is an easy bike or car ride to the beach and only a little over a mile from Historic area/shopping. The property itself needs some TLC. We were surprised by the condition of the furnishings, especially around the pool and lack of working lights in the house. Needs some cleaning up, painting, updating etc. And a better cleaning crew! That being said, the owner of the property is aware of some of the issues and is working on them. He is very responsive when reaching out with any issues. Overall we enjoyed our stay in Venice, great restaurants were visited, long bike rides and good memories were made for our family.

Worst Property Manager of ALL Time BEWARE!!! LIES

BEWARE!! The property itself was ok. Good location and nice pool. But beware of the property manager! I reported a few items to the VRBO host both for things that were broken and cleanliness. The bedding had stains. There was dirt and hair in the tub and overall just not clean. In addition, one of the showers in the house was broken and would not stay upright during the shower. Making the two bathroom house we rented basically a one. We have NEVER complained, we are low maintenance, and have never asked for any refund on all of our VRBO stays. We felt with the not working shower and the extreme lack of cleanliness, along with us paying for a cleaning fee and being asked to clean before we left, that it was reasonable to ask for a refund on the cleaning fee. As I did. The property manager, Brittany, went crazy!! And responded with a ton of things that were FLAT OUT LIES. I could not believe the response and reaction. She said there was dog food everywhere and we didn't book with a dog so she 'reported' us. She PROVED my point on how DIRTY the house was because we flew in from out of town and DID NOT have a dog so 'all the dog food' all over the place must have been from previous guests! She said we had dishes everywhere. We cleaned the ENTIRE place. I mean all dished either washed or loaded in the sink, took out trash, stripped beds. She responded the same way when I asked about the other terrible review, saying the visitor was the problem. Don't fall for the same
