We arrived at the hotel four hours before check-in. We were greeted very warmly and advised our room was ready! The suite was very spacious, from the Doges of Venice era, with very high ceilings and two small balconies overlooking a canal, so we were able to watch the daily activities of local working people, as well as the occasional gondola. Staff at the hotel were very helpful with directions, restaurant advice, arranging transportation, getting ice and glasses, and also were multilingual, which was a big plus!
The buffet breakfast was one of the nicest we've experienced. Our only complaint was that the room needed a bit more light, but overall, we would highly recommend this hotel.
