Our room faced the front street and they don’t put the air conditioning on until late May so we were forced to leave the window open. We got no sleep what’s so ever as extremely loud late until the night and again early morning. We asked to move and they made no effort said they were full, but then we seen a tour show up next day so they could have moved just didn’t want too.

There was a noisy stay above me which was a little annoying, but nothing big they just were very heavy walkers and big bangs from the room above until bthe morning hours. Other than that great stay, view was limited but I did no spend much time in the room.

I was booked Hotel NH Venezia Santa Lucia nearby the Train station (since we have few luggages) but they transfer our reservations to Avani Rio Novo Venice Hotel it must walk distances about 15mins with your own luggages and crossing four bridges with stairs steps and hotel only cover luggages porter one way when it check-in but not when it check out to train station (as original my booking near by hotel) it cost us additional $60 euro on porter. unacceptable!

we booked the Premier room with Canel View. the terrible thing happen when we found that the Balcony has been fully blocked with Scaffolding and under renovation. The Canel View has been fully blocked. We are deeply disappointed about this as this is somehow misleading from the description about the room. Absolutely dont book this hotel again.

Fantastic! Would 100% stay again!
This hotel was amazing! It was right by the train station so very easy to travel to! The front desk staff was so nice and helpful, they even held our bags while we explored the town after checkout. The room was gorgeous and comfortable. We had a canal view and loved that! The complementary bottle of champagne was the perfect touch for our couples trip. I was 100% stay here again. We didn’t explore the hotel much or use the bar/restaurant but did go to the 5th floor terrace to take in the view and it was beautiful.

Very convenient location to Train Station
We chose this hotel given the review, price, and proximity to the train station since we had an early morning train leaving Venice. Can't beat the 3 minute walk to the station! If you arrive by bus, it was about an 8 minute walk, just be aware that the main bridge by the buses to cross the canal has steps the whole way over if you have heavy luggage. There is also a water bus and water taxi stop close by the hotel so those are options as well. Plenty of restaurants nearby! The hotel is a bit dated, but was more then suitable to our needs. It was clean, very tiny (normal in Venice), and I would have to say that the hotel would be more of a 3 or 3.5 star rating in the States. We booked a Superior room with 1 Queen bed, and were put in room 420. Check in was quick, and we had a side/front view of the next door church and the main canal. There was a bottle of champagne presented our first night given our Hotels.com status. There was a bar and restaurant on the main floor, however we never ate at the hotel nor saw any patrons at the bar. There was a Mini bar in the room with a selection of items that were not free, nor did we try. The room was tight, but clean. The bathroom was also tiny, with a tub/shower (European style), toilet and bidet. Our biggest complaint was that the room was very warm (we visited during cooler weather), and we couldn't get the AC to work (it seemed to be blocked), so we just shut it off and opened the 2 windows which cooled the room down quickly.

Very convenient for the rail station and waterbuses, although quite a walk to get to the airport buses. It would have been comfortable except that the room was unbearably hot at 27 degrees and no air conditioning in November. We opened the windows but were then plagued by mosquitoes waking us. A good breakfast. Having decaffeinated coffee available without having to ask would be better.

Disappointed with this hotel. Booked the premium room did not look like the pictures Greeted by rude reception staff and was not acknowledged for the remainder of our stay. Very lovely and well appointed. Wonderful breakfast and extras. Paid for a view of canal and we had to practically climb out the window to enjoy the view. There were a variety of degrees of the view in the listing but ours didn’t fit in that range. That was disappointing as we paid significantly more to enjoy the view for our night in Venice. Otherwise, no complaints.

Front desk man was extremely rude and unhelpful. Our room phone was broken and we told the staff three times but they never fixed it. When we asked him how to utilize the concierge services they advertised on their app, he said we could walk down four flights of stairs to ask for something. The lady at the front desk was nice and helpful.

The restaurant for breakfast was so packed and staff was very short for guests. It was difficult to find the dishes and uncomfortable to have breakfast. They should improve this.
