The best area to stay in Velká Turná is the village centre itself, particularly around the main square.

Velká Turná is a very small, traditional South Bohemian village, so the "centre" refers to the cluster of houses, the village green, and the local pub. It's a quiet, picturesque setting with a strong sense of local life. You'll find a few historic buildings and a small church. The main square is often the focal point for any local gatherings.

For those seeking a peaceful, rural escape, this area is ideal. It's superb for unwinding, enjoying the countryside, and experiencing authentic Czech village life away from any hustle and bustle. Couples looking for a romantic and secluded retreat will appreciate the tranquility and the opportunity for long walks through the surrounding fields and forests.

Families will also find the village centre a good choice.

The best time to visit Velká Turná is during the late spring (May to June) or early autumn (September to October) when the weather is pleasant and the natural beauty of the South Bohemia Region is at its peak.
