"Heima Holiday Homes are located just a short drive from town, and offers supreme serenity and great Mountain View. Self-checkin was hassle free. The home was fully furnished and equipped. Floor was heated, including bathroom floor. We especially enjoyed the company of the property’s two friend dogs who came by my cabin and played ball with us (the dog brought its own ball to ask us to play, so cute!) "Very nice and convenient stay within the Golden Circle. Midpoint between Thingvellir and Geysir/Gullfoss. The hotel is nice and they offer permanent station of tea, coffee and hot chocolate which are always a plus. The Laugarvatn Lake is right behind the hotel, making it a nice view for certain rooms. I would stay here again if I was ever back in the area."
