"The hotel was great. Lovely helpful staff. Great location in San Marco and right next to gondola service. Only downside was a hard bed but this was promptly sorted out when mentioned to the staff. Definitely 5/5."

"The best thing is it’s just besides train station, just 2 minutes walk so although it’s far from Venice Island but in 30 minutes you can reach Venezia St. Lucia. The property was kept clean, spacious and breakfast was good. The hotel looks like very old and they have some old furnishings which need repair. Overall it needs some refurbishment to look like a modern hotel. They took credit card information as a security guarantee which was strange and faced first time in any hotel in Europe, even Italy but that’s fine as that might have been brought as per their bad experiences with guests in past. There are no good restaurants nearby as it’s bit far from city so need to keep this in mind while booking. Overall ambience at the hotel was good, wouldn’t say excellent but it’s good value for money if you compare with other hotels in Venice."

We booked because it was close to the airport and had a shuttle. Be sure to pre book your shuttle from the airport to the hotel. We were there just one night but would come back again. There are some lively eateries adjacent to the property that we would try next time. We highly recommend."
