"Amazing place at amazing price. Of cource it IS a hostel and not a hotel, but still... To be able to stay in a real castle at a rate that's lower than almost a month any hostel or motel is a fantastic experience. Good communication before arrival, and super easy check in via a keybox. The settings around the castle grounds also are beautiful with a magic little lake. The snall breakfast buffet was fine, and they had arranged glutenfree bread just for us. We totally recommend this place, which...

"Själva rummet va helt ok, dock ingen fläkt i badrummet så blev otroligt fuktigt i hela rummet efter dusch. De hade inte heller tömt soptunnan på toa så där låg en använd binda. Med tanke på priset vi betalade, 1550kr så va frukosten inte heller speciellt bra. Ingen lagad mat så som bacon och pannkaka. Fanns knappt pålägg kvar uppdukat när vi skulle äta"

View over the countryside where I come from - a small village named Vartofta, located about 220km to the east of Gothenburg in Västergötland. An area mostly famous for the ancient stone- and bronze age findings (graves, jewlery, pottery), the birds of lake Hornborga and of course its many churches. What I like about this off-the-beaten-path area is mostly the landscape. Crop fields in different sizes and colors, green hills, thick forests. It all makes a perfect place to wander off and just relax and enjoy the nature. If ever coming to the south/west of Sweden, give me a shout and I'll give you some tips - or, if I'm not out travelling, I might even show you around the area! 😊 #panorama #iphone #sweden
