"The room was outstanding. Very large, great bathroom and incredibly clean. When it was time to get to the airport, the shuttle arrived within minutes. Would absolutely stay there again."

"Loved this hotel, almost a home rather than a hotel. We had a HUGE room and large, but narrow balcony. Set in extensive grounds with pool (closed when we were there) and with tennis etc. Breakfast was modest but good, Dinner was very good. But arrived when everything was closed so couldnt get lunch or dinner so had to find food elswhere."

"Absolutely beautiful newly renovated property! Decor and service were top quality. We had a small issue with our shower and the host sorted it immediately and efficiently. Lovely to be able to visit the wine cellar next door and taste the local produce. Highly recommended. The photos on the listing don’t do it justice at all. Recommend nearby pizza place called Fluke for dinner too. Walking distance to it. "

"We were only able to stay one night, but our night at the Vallombrosa vineyard was very peaceful. The hosts were very helpful and kind and were gracious to bring me some emergency supplies. Although the property lies in a beautiful setting, it’s important to note that it takes at least 30 minutes to get to Lugano and the lake by car. I also have a couple suggestions to make the room even better:
-Provide a properly functioning coffee machine (Ours only produced 1-2 tablespoons of coffee. Maybe...

"Arrived around 9:45 pm and all the parking near the hotel was full. The hotel is situated on narrow roads (and, many one-way) but thankfully my passenger was able to get out of the car and check with hotel reception regarding where to park. We were directed to a public parking lot about 600m up the hill, which was also quite full. Unfortunately, I did not get to use the electric car charging that the hotel site referenced.
Room was comfortable, but this is more like a 2-star hotel not a 4-star hotel. The laminate floor was deteriorating in several places.
Breakfast had eggs and breakfast meats at the "hot food" options. It was sufficient, but nothing to write home about.
We did enjoy having dinner at the restaurant, which was quite busy and lively with locals.

"The property is a perfect retreat on Lake Como itself.
Our room, 302, was exceptional. With an open balcony on 2 sides. Giving an uninterrupted grand view of the amazing Lake.
It was clean and a good size.
The only things missing were Tea and Coffee making facilities and the bathroom isn’t very private.
I brought my partner here to propose with the background of Lake Como.
The staff were absolutely 10/10. The communication before hand leading to our stay. They were exceptional.
Thank you for a great stay.

"We've stayed here several times coming in & out of Milan MXP, & always feelat home. Friendly, efficient staff, , importantly- easy quick shuttle to/from airport. Have stayed in various room grades & they've always been good. Comfortable beds (a bit firm for me, but anyway) & enough pillows, excellent shower & bathroom. Very good breakfast varied savoury, sweet & in between. Have also eaten evening meal here : excellent. No hesitation in recommending Villa Malpensa. "
