Hotell Gastis was so quirky with so many books and artefacts. Our room was very small but perfectly adequate. We hired bikes and visited a small nature reserve. We also went in the Leninbadet which was an amazing experience, even with the steam room not working. It was like going back in time and we loved it. There were major building works going on outside the hotel but we couldn’t hear anything even though our room overlooked them. The roof terrace was lovely and we sat there with a post dinner drink! Drinks were expensive and we didn’t eat there in the evening, but the breakfast was really good and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay

A unique and fun hotel

Truly unique with 15000 books and a wellness section modeled after Lenin’s bathhouse… quirky and charming, with uniquely designed rooms. We stayed in the Otto Torell-room which was huge. The somewhat worn standard is part of the charm and something to appreciate in this hotel. There’s also so much to look at with weird and curious details littered throughout. Staff was friendly but everything including the bar closed at around 10pm.

Bra val!

Grymt hotell. Vi hade till och med turen att bli uppgraderade under våran vistelse. Supertrevlig och mottagande personal, bra frukost och riktigt mäktigt/ häftigt rum. Bra priser på drinkar och öl. Ligger nära resecentrum och stadens centrum (ca 5 min till station och 2 till centrum). finns också ett häftigt spa som kan vara värt att besöka om man ändå ska dit :)

Vilken pärla!

Ett väldigt charmigt och annorlunda hotell. Incheckningsdisken var som ett bibliotek med böcker överallt. Vi hade rum i en separat fastighet med en egen "takvåning" med uteplats. Underbar restaurang/bar/café med mysig innergård alldeles intill - med charmerande personal som gav oöverträffad service. Supernöjda!

Supertrevligt

skulle egentligen hitta ett hotell i falkenberg för ett yogacenter men eftersom det var fullt överallt där hittade vi Gästis, och blev inte besvikna! Lätt att åka till Falkenberg. Hotellet var supermysigt, personligt, ombonat och så bra service. vi fick personlig service på det vi önskade av receptionen snabbt och enkelt. Bra frukost, och nära till (fri) parkering. Lite varmt på rummen.

Jättefint hotell med trevlig personal! Dock väldigt svårt att sova sommartid om man har fönster ut mot gatan. Det är mycket liv utanför till sent på natten. Det var ett måste att ha fönstret öppet då det var varmt på rummet. Fantastisk frukost och en härlig miljö att vara i annars!

Härlig ide och läckert orginellt. BRA service o go perlonal. Dock är det svårt ibland med gräns mellan fräckt gammalt o lite sunkigt. Fullt askfat på balkongenv o sängkläder i korridoren hela dagen blir lite fel. Pigga som vi fixar trappor o tunga dörrar men kanskr ni borde tänka till när man placerar boende. Annars god frukost o trevligt bemötande!!

Väldigt bra. Skall man gnälla på något så kunde dom haft lite kraftigare toalettpapper . Var så tunt så fingrarna lätt gick igenom. Sedan är fruktfatet vid frukosten på tok för litet. Tog slut bara minutrarna efter man satt dit ett nytt. Ojämn styrka på kaffet. Ibland tunt som attan för att vid ett senare tillfälle dricka kaffe så odrickbart starkt. Härlig takterrass och läget är perfekt. Gångavstånd till allt. Som sagt var är vi mycket nöjda och kommer mest sannolikt att välja detta hotell igen vid nästa besök i stan.

Bra läge nära till allt, sköna sängar och bra frukostbuffé där inget saknades. Vi bodde i Villa Gästis och det var en brant trappa upp till andra våningen och ingen hiss. Tycker inte om uppstoppade djur, framförallt många fåglar, i frukostrummet - det är inte så fräscht och trevligt. Fick parkeringsböter utanför hotellet när vi checkade in för vi hade ingen P-skiva. Känns inte så välkomnande, men förutom det så är vi nöjda med vårt besök.
