The Home Varaville 2 km from Cabourg, 30 m from the beach by a private road. A garden of 400 m² for shared use. A place of parking on the closed ground. Baker, Charcutier at 200 m, restaurant at 300 m, thermal center "Thalazur" at 1 km, golf course 18 holes at 1km.
Semi-detached villa of 80 m², 4 rooms, on 2 levels. Fully equipped kitchen opening onto a living room with flat screen TV, corner sofa, a bedroom on the ground floor (140 cm bed) with flat screen TV, WC on ground floor. Upstairs: shower room with WC and towel dryer, 1 bedroom with 1 double bed (160 cm), 1 flat screen TV, 1 wardrobe and 1 bedroom with 2 single beds (90 cm) and flat screen TV.
Electric heating, 1 iron with table, garden furniture, parasol, barbecue.
Bed linen and towels are not provided. Housekeeping not included, foresee 60 € in cash to be given at the delivery of the keys imperatively. If no deposit no keys will be given on arrival. If the house is impeccable this sum will be refunded to you at your departure.
A deposit check must be handed in at the entrance of an amount of 500 €.
Check in time is 1 pm (see other options if required), and departure at 10 am.
Non smoking inside the house, small animals allowed.

Pas de wifi, pas de jardin, pas de possibilités de se garer, et salon de jardin contre la fenêtre de chambre du rez de chaussée..... Voisins bruyants, jardin promis est un parking des voisins et parc a chiens , (parking des voisins, dommage car la situation géographique et super et le logement aussi

Petit weekend sympathique.Point négatifs c'est le stationnement.Pourtant indiqué dans l'annonce mais inexistant. Il faut se garer sur le parking de la plage, pas loin certes mais en perode de grande vacances je doute que les 4 places soit libres.

Afrader! Beschrijving klopt niet, op berichten in de app wordt niet gereageerd (dus er was geen beddengoed), je mag de tuin niet gebruiken, geen parkeergelegenheid, muf, veel spinnenwebben, vochtplekken, geen wifi, gammele wc's, mini tv met uitsluitend Franse zenders, gehorig, onvriendelijke buren, etc. Alleen de locatie was goed. Nog geen 100 meter lopen en je staat op een mooi strand.

Séjour de 3 nuits à varaville

Très bon sejour au calme, dans la maison située à quelques mètres d une grande plage. La maison est bien équipée et dispose d un jardin partagé clos commun aux autres propriétaires qui a fait le bonheur de notre chienne. Nous avons pu découvrir la région : Caen, château de bouttemont, Cabourg et Houlgate. Nous reviendrons pour la suite !

Un séjour reposant et vivifiant

Petit séjour de 4 jours en famille afin de profiter à fond du bon air marin. Nous avons été comblés. Confort, proximité de la plage, calme, tout y était. Merci beaucoup.

Aucune consigne donnée à l’arrivée, pas d’adresse, quand j’ai appelé la conciergerie, elle m’a donné une mauvaise adresse, ce qui m’a valu un accueil fort peu aimable des voisins. Nous sommes arrivés, la porte d’entrée principale ouverte, ce qui est inquiétant quand quand on arrive dans un endroit que l’on ne connais pas. La communication est quasi inexistante et Veronique la propriétaire ne répond pas aux messages et ne donne aucune consigne sur le check out. Le pire… la saleté ! À notre arrivée, les WC n’était pas nettoyé et il restait les excréments des précédents locataires une horreur ! la maison n’est absolument pas entretenue Les dessous d’evier ou de lavabo sont très sales, gras et poussiéreux, les carreaux, bords de fenêtres, placards , étagères ne sont pas nettoyés, la haute aspirante est tellement grasse que l’on ose pas la toucher. Nous sommes arrivés, l’apurateur n’avait pas été passé, et en plus en panne Les sols n’étaient pas lavés et nous avons commencé par retirer les tapis des chambres, et notamment celle des enfants ils étaient tachés non aspirés est extrêmement poussiéreux. Il y a dans cette maison, une odeur de moisi dans la chambre du rez-de-chaussée et de graisse dans la salle. Les 70€ de ménage qui sont facturés sont absolument injustifiés. Cela est désolant et dommage car cette maison est extrêmement bien placée, dans un chemin privé , très proche de la plage et très calme. Cela ne compense pas le manque de propreté.

Agréable location proche mer

Séjour agréable location spacieuse manque quelques équipements dans salle de bains notamment Pannier douche pour les produits et raclette de nettoyage Propreté limite 😨 nous avons eu la chance de ne pas avoir de voisins pour que les chiens puissent profiter du jardin. La mer a 200 m et la tranquillité A recommander !

À notre arrivé impossible d'identifier la maison vu les rue chemin ou rue qui son à côté puis grâce à un voisin nous avons trouvés après pas de clefs le concierge n'avait soit disant pas le bon numéro de téléphone et après la maison pas très propre serviettes hygiéniques dans la poubelle etc.....

Fijn appartement

De woning zelf prima te doen, niet geheel super netjes, goede ruimtes. Omgeving uitstekend en lekker dicht bij het mooie strand. Maar goed ook dat strand zo dichtbij was daar de beloofde omheinde tuin niet aanwezig bleek, althans was er wel maar mag niet gebruikt worden. Juist dit huisje genomen Ipv een appartement vanwege de tuin voor de kinderen. Erg vervelend dus dat dit zo verkeerd voorgelicht wordt.

Communications and Expectations

The day before we arrived we where asked via text if we need linen and towels. We said yes. The evening we arrived no towels or linen. We called the concierge contact he said sorry and he could not make it that evening so no sheets or towels, but next morning he will come early. So after a long day we had no linen. He did not make it next morning either, we sat all morning waiting, so I bought towels and we went about our day. That evening there where towels and sheets available at the door. So the next day we are traveling in the region and get a call that the concierge is at the house waiting to be paid for the linen. One, we where an hour away, two why would you just show up to the house looking for money, three I didn't know we needed to pay for linen. So we told him we where enjoying our vacation and would talk later. That evening he showed up at the house. He wanted his money for linen, 90 Euros, I was not happy to pay for something we didn't have for 2 days of our stay, he went down to 40 Euros, I just wanted it to be over, so I said OK here is my card. He said no card cash only, I thought that was strange. So I gave him 50 Euro, he said he had no change and would bring 10 euro change in the morning, he never did. This entire inter- action was very strange and didn't seem legitimate.

Très bon séjour à Varaville

La maison est agréable et très bien située, à 2 pas de la plage via un petit sentier. Le jardin est grand et clôturé ce qui était sécurisant pour nos enfants et notre chien. Il est partagé mais nous n'avons eu personne dans la maison mitoyenne. La literie est confortable. Il manque qqs équipements : pas de poubelle, pas assez de couverts et de verres par rapport au nombre de personnes qui peuvent être logées, pas de carafe d'eau, une bouilloire qui ne marche pas, pas de table et chaises pour manger dehors quand il fait beau (ce qui est fort dommage car nous avons eu un super temps!). Le bémol est le parking : on ne peut pas se garer dans la jardin mais juste sur un parking de 4 places non privées, qui est vite plein en journée et il y a très peu de possibilités de stationnement aux alentours. Ça ne nous a pas empêché de passer un agréable moment dans cette maison

nice house next to the beach

the house itself was cosy and clean, but in contradiction to the description, no private parking in the property and no access to the garden were allowed. There's also no WIFI available and the 4G signal is really poor.

Aurait pu être bien mais…

La maison aurait pu être agréable (très bien située, bien décorée), Mais : - Très sale. On paye 70€ pour le ménage final mais le résultat est lamentable : gros amas de poussière et de cheveux dans toutes les pièces, excréments collés sous une des lunettes de wc, portes de placards sous évier ou lavabo très sales, alèses recouvertes de sable et de cheveux… - maison pas entrenue (tringle qui menace de tomber, lunettes de wc qui ne tiennent pas, bouilloire qui fait sauter le disjoncteur quand on la branche, un barbecue inutilisable (pas de grille, tout rouillé et rempli d’eau)… -et surtout : l’accueil affreux des voisins dès notre arrivée devant le portail. A priori, plus aucun locataire n’aura le droit de pénétrer et se garer dans le jardin commun, ni par conséquence, de pénétrer dans la maison par la porte d’entrée. L’accès devra se faire par la cour intérieure (dans un état pitoyable) et la porte-fenêtre qui donne dans la partie salon, derrière le canapé. Il semblerait que ces décisions découlent de la dernière réunion du syndic. Du coup, l’annonce telle qu’elle était rédigée quand nous avons réservé deviendrait erronée : pas de place de parking (à part 4 places publiques toutes prises d’assaut l’été et rien d’autre). Nous avons eu droit de pénétrer dans le jardin mais nous serons les derniers. Bref, cette location aurait pu être très agréable mais je trouve que j’ai payé trop cher par rapport à son état général. Je n’y retournerai pas.
