"Property is very peaceful and quiet. Can walk the the whole beach and never see anyone else. Beach is beautiful but not great for swimming during low tide. Good snorkeling out at the reef but probably about a 500m walk during low tide and pretty rough water while we were there; water shoes are a must! We stayed in one of their newer bungalows which was very clean and well appointed. Staff were friendly and helpful. Not much to do in the area but relax, however town is only about a 10-15min taxi ride away. Food was decent and affordable but would highly recommend checking out the Island Grill in Savusavu for a meal. Overall a nice place to chill and relax or a good home base for exploring other parts of the island."

This is a super Kool place and the chill staff make the experience unforgettable The pool next to the ocean and the lagoon and the food n bar service make this place one of a kind. "We had a fantastic stay at the Beachfront cottage! The property is beautiful and the Host family were great to work with. They provided fresh bouquets of flowers and passion fruit in the cottage upon arrival. We slept about 150 ft from the ocean and could hear the peaceful beach sounds all night. There is about a 2 mile stretch of black sand beach and we didn't see another beach on the island that was nicer than the one we had right out our front door! We also did two different waterfall hikes and they were both within about 10 mins of the cottage. We had some trouble with our phone charging cables and we were able to borrow a wireless charger from our Host family until we could figure our problem. We loved the outdoor shower. We used the kayaks one day and paddled up and down the coast. We saw sea turtle pop his head up right in front of us. If you love the quiet, secluded, off the beaten path type of stay (we were about 20min from Savusavu), then this is the place for you!"

"This was my second time staying at Galaxy Hotel, and I really enjoyed my stay. The room was modern and up to date, which made it comfortable. The only issue we had was with the bathroom door, but it was promptly fixed. Overall, a pleasant experience once again. "
