Thé history of the building and the very reasonable price of the room. Also it had ample, secure parking spaces and the location within walking distance of the beautiful, interesting centre of Vannes.

Clean, functional and quiet place to stay

This is an unusual place to stay but I really enjoyed it. It’s an old convent and some rooms are rented out. The rooms and facilities are quite simple but nevertheless good value, clean and functional. Staff are nice too. You can eat breakfast (basic) and a 3 course meal with wine and coffee for about 13 euros and it’s not bad! It’s in a great location by the marina. I would stay again. My only complaint is wifi is quite frankly nonexistent ( unless better in other rooms)

The room was ok. The bathroom smelled terrible! We had to keep the bathroom door closed at all times. The smell would find its way into the bedroom. Even with all windows open it was almost unbearable. No other rooms avail except for single beds. Also-no soaps or shampoos included.

It is quite a unique place to stay, the rooms are quite large and the common toilets/showers are clean. It is easy to park which is quite a bonus when being so close to Vannes' centre.

Very good location, room. Could stay for days.

Very clean, good use of space, quiet and comfortable beds with good blinds to shut out any light. Slept very well. Close to the city centre. No towels (you can purchase) or soap/toiletries. So bring your own. Other than that, all perfect. Very happy with the price too in comparison with other hotels in the area and their offering.

Omg. Like a ward from one flew over the cuckoos nest mixed with religious zealotry. Smelt hugely of disinfectant everywhere, no towels and have to make your own sheets. Either the most horrific or funniest stay of your life. Great location near to amazing vannes tho!

The building itself with the cloistered corridors and stained glass windows was very pleasant. The room looked newly fitted out (sink, shelving, reading light, plenty of sockets) However there was no common space to relax and no facilities to make a hot drink. Reception and other staff were unhelpful. We didn’t eat meals but the dinner looked pretty awful. There was a lot of noise at night - a group of younger people shouting & screaming

You get what you pay for.

One half step above a youth hostel. Stripped down lodging with vinyl floors and walls with glaring overhead lighting.Congregate, unisex bathroom with 7 stalls, 3 showers, and one sink with only cold water. Ran out of paper towels 2nd day. Reception friendly but did not speak English. Sheets were clean tho we had to make our own beds. It felt like summer camp!

Economy rate room didn't include towels nor soap and you had to make the bed by yourself, the room smelled sewer-like probably because of bad drainage system in the bathroom, wi-fi signal was very poor, bathroom was not particularly clean, the personnel didn't speak English, poor experience overall

La porte de la salle de bain avait la poignée arrachée , plus possible de la fermer alors que j'avais choisi une chambre à partager entre 3 amis de sexe différent nous avons dû utiliser les WC du couloir ainsi que les douches alors qu'il y avait une salle de bain dans la chambre !!! Nous l'avons signalé à la réception on nous a répondu c'est normal..... la poignée est commandée !!! Ah ben ça change tout on est ravi pour les suivants....

Die positiven Bewertungen sind wohl gekauft !! Was fĂŒr eine ekelhafte Unterkunft. Überall liegt Dreck in den Ecken. Die Bettlaken sind verschmutzt und das Bad eine einzige Katastrophe. Man möchte nichts anfassen, weil man Angst hat sich Krankheiten zu holen. Das Personal unfĂ€hig. In den Komfortzimmern gibt es kein WiFi obwohl damit geworben wird. Unter den Matratzen liegen Sperrholzplatten. Es macht schon Sinn dass man eine Buchung nicht stornieren kann ohne auf sein Geld zu verzichten, denn sonst hĂ€tten die hier keine GĂ€ste! Bitte gebt 20 Euro mehr aus und sucht Euch eine vernĂŒnftige Unterkunft. Ich habe es nach langem Überlegen getan und den Zimmerpreis plus FrĂŒhstĂŒckspreis von 8 Euro in den Wind geschrieben. HĂ€tte in diesem Zimmer nicht schlafen können. Auch wenn es " nur" eine Herberge und kein Hotel ist es unterirdisch schlecht.

Ancien couvent transformé en hébergement. Donc plein de trucs clochent. Sur 7 nuits, j'ai dormi 5h chaque nuit, insuffisant. Pour 1 nuit c'est sans doute trÚs bien. La cour intérieure avec son cloßtre est superbe. Ce lieu religieux est 'décalé '. Proximité du port impeccable.
