About this property

Cozy home with Private Forest/Park on 1.5 acres, Outdoor lounge area and Hot Tub

  • Come stay in our renovated home on 1.5 acres in Orchards, Vancouver. Conveniently located 10 minutes from I-205, the interior of the home features an open floor plan with two living spaces, dining room, laundry area, and a kitchen with updated appliances and many kitchen accessories for all your cooking needs. Its a great place for a whole family to stay or to meet up with family from out of town. The home has many games, puzzles, cable and smart TV for inside entertainment.

    We have a jacuzzi right outside the back door under cover and an amazing 1.25 acres of private forested park perfect for morning walks, or for the family to just run around. It features a backyard gazebo and lounge furniture, seasonal vegetable garden, open grass areas, a bamboo forest path, and another outdoor seating area with a picnic bench and fire pit (when conditions are allow). There is one parking spot in the covered parking at the house and then many additional spots in the back gravel parking area for other vehicles. The property does have an outdoor surveillance system. Additional details on system will be included in home packet of information.

    The home is located with in walking distance to a neighborhood park and bike trails and is a 5 minute drive to many grocery stores and within 10 minute drive to Vancouver mall. Conveniently located only 10 minutes away from the 205, it makes it a great location to visit many Pacific Northwest day adventures, such as Hood River, Columbia River, Portland, PDX Airport, and beyond. While we appreciate families being able to get together, we not allow parties at the home. Also to be thoughtful to our neighbors we ask that any outdoor noise be reduced by 10:00 pm.

Our host came over and welcomed us to a perfect place to have a 90th birthday party for my mother-in-law. The home was spacious and had everything we needed. The puzzles and games, suitable for all ages, helped entertain everyone. The park setting yard was such a pleasant surprise, simply beautiful, with outdoor games that kept a smile on everyone's face.

Perfect property!

This house has everything you need for a comfortable stay. The kitchen and bathrooms are well-stocked, the friendly hosts are accessible (if needed), the guest manual is very thorough. An extra bonus is the beautiful area behind the house that has a field, wooded area, and blueberries that can be picked. We have stayed here several times and look forward to another visit!

Great stay . A big place, well laid out. Nice kitchen. Loved the breakfast nook for morning cup of tea. I appreciated the good lighting throughout the house which made the house feel bright and cheery even in rainy weather . Loved the entry way with hooks for jackets, place for shoes and bench to sit on. Nice big table for meals, games and gatherings . Loved the yard. I would love to come back in the summer and use it more, though, we still used it a lot. Great outdoor gazebo with furniture. Hot tub area is also well done. Easy lift hot tub cover. Great place to watch the rain fall and the birds in the trees. My only suggestions; We weren’t really bothered by the busy road noise but light sleepers might have trouble . The blankets on the bed were a little thin and light for winter nights.

The pictures don’t do this place justice! Yes, it was cozy, but really spacious. We were visiting family in the area who came over for dinner and we had everything we needed to cook and host. My mom enjoyed walking the property with her 5yr old granddaughters and there were plenty of toys and books to keep them entertained. The location was convenient and communication was clear. We’d gladly stay here again on our next visit to Vancouver!

We had a awesome stay here. This house has everything you could possibly need from the kitchen to the bathrooms. The yard is beautiful, with plenty room for everyone. The owners were very easy to work with, and very nice. We will stay here again, when coming back to Washinton.

Couldn’t be better!

We had a delightful stay. Their place had everything we needed, including a fully stocked kitchen, comfortable beds and pillows, lots of towels, games, etc. The hot tub was an added bonus as was the one and a half acres the property is on. The host were great at communication. We were sad to leave.

Absolutely loved our stay at this cozy home! The property was stunning, with a well-maintained forest park right outside the back door. We spent hours relaxing in the outdoor lounge area and soaking in the hot tub. The house itself was clean, comfortable, and well-equipped with everything we needed. The pictures don’t do this place justice! You are in the middle of a neighborhood but it feels like your own little oasis.Property was clean and had everything we needed. Lots of room for our family to spread out. Loved the hot tub after a long day. We stay at homes often for sports tournaments and my husband said this was by far his favorite. Highly recommend this to anyone!

Comfortable stay

We visited the area to see family and attend the Olympics trials. The communication was great, they allowed family to stop by. The kids enjoyed the yard and the adults enjoyed the hot tub. We weren’t there much because our family lives 10 minutes away but it was a great home to sleep and wake up to. Very clean and a fully stocked kitchen if you’re cooking. Location is close to food and markets. Will stay here again next time we visit family.

Family Thanksgiving in Vancouver

The property and accomodations were exactly as stated in the advertisement. The housing accommodations were very neat, clean and well organized. Great property

The house is sitting on a super big lot so it is a great place for all backyard games. The yard has several cozy garden "rooms". As for the house, the pictures don't show what a great place this is! We used the hot tub both nights we stayed and the beds are comfortable. My only complaint is the wonky shower head in the master suite. Thank you for sharing your home with us!

Great location, excellent layout for a family of six

The layout of this rental was exceptionally nice for our family of six adults. Two living rooms, with dining room in between, and kitchen right there, gave ample space for multiple activities at once. Loved the hot tub and fresh veggies from the garden. Beautiful kitchen. Master bath could use a new shower head. But that's truly the only negative. We'd definitely stay here again if coming to the Pacific NW. Worked wonderfully for making day trips to Mt. St. Helens, Mt. Rainier, the Columbia River Gorge, Willamette Valley, Portland, Astoria and Cannon Beach.
