We couldn’t stay the night when we seen the hotel we checked out. Don’t look like the pictures! Bugs were on the bed the door was opened before we walked in. Sheets weren’t clean. We couldn’t find any other hotel because everything was booked so we slept in the car.

I've stayed here multiple times, and I've always had a great stay each time, you can tell room's were updated recently and each time there clean, along with the bed sheets and towels, will definitely stay again.

This was in fact a budget inn. It was good for the price I paid but the exterior was unclean and old feeling. The room itself was very basic and exactly what I needed and felt clean enough. Worth it for the price.

A staff member was extremely rude to me when checking out. I came to pick up my sisters and had luggage with me, and he accused me of being “sneaky” and “trying to get a free room.” When I explained the situation he said he “won’t talk to me if I’m going to be so arrogant.” When we finally left, he slammed the window shut in my face. Absolutely unbelievable! We won’t be back.

Staff was very friendly. Rundown on the outside, paid $428 for one night as we missed our flight. It was memorial day weekend but the price for what we got was outrageous. Comforter did not appear to be washed and floors were dirty. No furniture besides bed and a table in room. Poor lighting no lamps. In a very rundown area.

Great Stay in Valparaiso

The Budget Inn in Valparaiso is undergoing remodeling, but is still providing excellant service. There is evidence of the work, but the rooms they are providing are clean, with new beds, floors, paint and bathroom fixtures. The manager is friendly and very helpful. I believe he must know every restaurant in town and it’s location. And the restaurants are close by, and the one I patronized offered a variety of choices and the choice I made was very good. This is my first visit to the Budget Inn, but it will not be my last. I am anxious to see the end result of the remodel.

Very Misleading. Hotel states "Eglin AFB" and is NOT on the base. I had to wait 47 mins for extra towls and 3 different people came to help me each time I went to the front desk to ask for the towls. I spit harder than the shower head pressure. I would not let my worse enemy stay here. DO NOT RECOMMEND!

Oh where to begin it was a horror hotel. The most disgusting hotel I've ever seen and the Worst experience. Dirty, messy, nasty you name it, it was. Had to pay extra just because 2 people were going to sleep in one bed i had a room with 2 beds but we weren't supposed to sleep 2 and 2 in bed. Trashy and unsafe. I'll try to add pictures its unimaginable

Upon arrival our room was not prepared, they then proceeded to place us in a so called suite and tried to do with no extra cost like it was a privilege ? But it WASNT. The AC wasn’t working properly, the bed was not on any frame , with one small thin blanket which makes sense seeing the AC didn’t work. The TV didn’t want to work half the time . The internet was in and out the whole time .i had three fridges in my room as if it was a storage unit. THE BIG ISSUE WAS THERE WAS NO HOT WATER IN THAT UNIT . I had the faucet turned all the way to hot. I had to take cold showers for two days. The location was horrible the parking spaces was way to close to the public sidewalk constantly worried if my car was going to be stole or broken into. I WILL NEVER go there again . 0/10 do not recommend. 2 nights 275$ and 50$ deposit a waste of money. Please do not book with this establishment

So many problems with this place. Location - it is located on a busy street so it was VERY noisy. There was a huge gap around all edges of the door when it was closed - including at least 3/4 of an inch on the bottom. I'm sure they have a rodent problem as the bottom of the TV stand/dresser had a big whole that looked like it had been chewed up. The walls were paper thin so you could hear everything around you. There was no mirror in the bathroom - not sure how a man would shave here. The bed was hard as a rock and there wasn't a blanket - just a sheet and a cover that was also the weight of a sheet. The TV was terrible - small and the reception was so bad that the picture was constantly pixelated. The exterior of the property is in need of many repairs, the property name lights are partially burned out, the paint is peeling and there is cracked concrete everywhere. Don't stay here unless your only concern is price. Even then, there are better options.

Horribly hot room!

When we got there I had a reservation for a king size bed but they said it was for two queen beds and it was an extra $134 if I wanted the king bed. Then the room was extremely hot. The AC only cool about a foot away from the unit. The man at the desk kept insisting it was a brand new unit. Even after being on for a couple of hours it had not cooled the room at all. We asked for a fan to at least circulate the air. He said sure he would bring one and never did. We had to buy one only to realize it didn’t actually help. We checked out the following morning and got a room for the rest of the weekend somewhere else. The man at the desk told us that if we wanted a refund for the unused part of our stay we would have to get it from hotel.com but the site will not let you check out early or refund any money. The phone number on the site is not a valid number. I will try to contact them on Monday and if I have no results I will be reporting them to the better business bureau.

Never Again

I would rather sleep in my car than ever stay in this place again. Reception is a dump, road noise after 5 am is unbearable unless you are stone deaf. Wifi didn't work despite being reassured by the owner that it works in the room. When checking in owner had a hissy fit that I could only pay cash for the deposit, eventually he took $80 and in the morning he first said he would refund it to my credit card (which is impossible since he never got his hands on it) eventually he THREW the $80 at me! As per pictures you can't adjust the AC since it has no switch. In the morning there was no hot water since I guess it was overloaded, late at night it was hot. The TV is brand new but about as big as a chocolate box. The Indian owner and son are definitely in the wrong business, they are not service oriented and treated me with contempt. I try and be fair with my reviews but except for being cheap this place has no redeeming qualities.

Just know whatever you pay through Expedia they say it doesn’t cover what the place is priced for and they have a roach infestation.. sheets were weird so we decided to use our own blankets and they then decided to charge a fee saying we damaged the sheets we never used …
