"Our stay was a 3 night break . The hotel staff were extremely helpful and efficient. The bed was comfortable and room was clean. The restaurant was not open for dinner but it was okay to order food in or there was a cheese board ,meat board or a mixture of served with salad and fresh bread.Excellent The breakfast was also very fresh and tasty. The hotel has a bus stop close which took you into the centre of Cherbourg . From the hotel within a few minutes you could walk along a very long promenade which had lovely views of the sea."

"Amazing stay from start to finish. The staff was absolutely awesome—friendly, welcoming, and helpful throughout my entire stay. The room was clean, comfortable, and very nice. The location is fantastic, especially if you’re visiting Normandy to see the D-Day sites. Everything I wanted to visit was easily accessible from the hotel. I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Highly recommend Hotel Le Sainte Mère and will definitely be back soon. Five stars all the way!"

"My first time in a youth hostel (I am 62 and didn’t bother to translate the property name) My 13yo daughter was pleasantly surprised by the property and I hope it will encourage her to consider Youth Hostels in her future adventures (without me). Staff and other customers were friendly the accommodations were more that adequate although a little basic but for an adventurous younger traveller an excellent opportunity"

"This was an amazing place! Perfectly situated to visit both the D-Day beaches and also the town of Valognes. The house was wonderful for families, the photos don’t do it justice, especially the pool. Marion was great with communication and felt looked after throughout. Would definitely recommend to large families or multiple families for a magical holiday. Thanks."
