"Rooms were clean and nice. Staff was great. Getting any ice seems to always be a problem in Europe. Only problem we had was that we were under the impression the cost of parking was included in room price and we just needed to get tickets validated. But we had to pay an additional $20 for parking. ??"

"The food is very good here and also the atmosphere. However for the odd warm summer months we have, not so good. No air conditioning in rooms and also the duvet for the beds are those that suit the winter months. I will be back for sure but I'll be leaving it to fall& winter."

"A lovely break, hotel very good. We ate in the brasserie, the food was very good. Gregory looked after us, a very pleasant guy. Breakfast staff could be a bit more friendly. Room was clean, bed comfortable. We hope to return in the future. A lovely part of Ireland."

"Reception staff were super friendly and extremely welcoming and informative. Waiting staff at breakfast couldn’t be more accommodating and helpful. Selection at breakfast was excellent and great quality. An excellent hotel for families."

"Rooms were spacious, and decorated to a high standard. Breakfast was delicious. A member of staff took us to a nearby village as we couldn’t get a taxi, which was very thoughtful. Food and drinks in the brasserie bar were reasonably priced. We had spa treatments and both enjoyed it, but the sauna and jacuzzi experience was a bit odd as it’s not properly connected to the spa and we had to use towels from the gym to shower after. The Fairways Restaurant was good but the food was nothing special and the price seemed very elevated. We preferred the meal we had in the nearby Ballymore Inn. Overall a lovely hotel with a great - although my fairly challenging - golf course"
