We had an Amazing Time!
We had an amazing time at Sundance Rock! We love this beautiful cabin and our grandkids really enjoyed playing on the rocks and areas surrounding the cabin. We highly recommend it and we will definitely be back! Thank you!!!
Look no further! If you are visiting the Mentone area, you need to stay here! This cabin is beautiful and super clean! The owners have decorated with such detail! So cozy! The porch is huge with beautiful view! My husband and I stayed 3 nights and enjoyed the peace and quiet away from everything. Convenient to Fort Payne, DeSoto Park waterfalls, and an easy 45 minute drive to Chattanooga. We will definitely be back!!

We had a great stay, the house was perfect, exactly what we were told.*****
This is an awesome house and perfect for two couples. The view is great. The people in Mentone are so friendly and kind. Holley with delightful retreats is the best. I don't know how our stay could have been made better.

Wonderful week on the Brow!
This was our first time staying in this cabin. We chose it because it was perfect to have another couple join us for part o the week. The bedrooms were on either end of the cabin with a large open den, dining room and kitchen in the middle. The porch was wonderful with a great view. The beds were very comfortable. Everything was clean and comfortable. We will probably return in the Fall with our friends.

Beautiful as always!
We were at Sundance Rock to deal with a family members death. As usual Sundance Rock was our very comfortable home away from home and a shelter in an emotional storm. It was the perfect place to be.

Perfect visit to Mentone, AL!
5 Stars for our 3rd visit this year to Sundance Rock in Mentone, AL.
We travel from different states to have quality family time together and Sundance Rock is perfect for us. This visit we spent a lot of time on the porch as the weather was perfect. We enjoyed outdoor meals and star gazing. We hope to continue to return many times as the entire area from DeSoto state park to Chattanooga is filled with excitement and the nicest people on the planet!

Fall Visit
Sundance Rock is the perfect cabin for two couples. We each had our own wonderful king size bed and bathroom. The front porch overlooks the brow and goes across the whole front of the cabin. We enjoyed our stay and will book again.
Amazing view. Great location to Mentone and beyond.Very relaxing and peaceful. Plenty of space for the 3 of us, especially on the amazing back porch overlooking the brow.Kitchen had all pans, baking dishes, and utensils one would need. Bring your own spices and such.
The house was amazing. It's secluded just enough with a beautiful view. Super clean and stocked with everything you would need. It was a wonderful weekend!

Wonderful trip!
We stay once a year at Sundance Rock and we always enjoy our stay! Holly was very responsive and such a pleasure! Wonderful trip!!
This was our second time staying here with another couple and we were as delighted as the first time. A beautiful over the Brow with a convenient location to Mentone. Features two master suites, with plenty of screened in decking from which to enjoy the view. Spacious kitchen, comfortable furniture, it even features a wine fridge. I strongly suggest this for a small family or a couples getaway.

Liked: Check-in, communication, location
Disliked: Cleanliness
Upon checking in, we noticed a strong odor (like something dead and decaying) in our bedroom. Later, we discovered that the closet seemed to be the focal point of the smell. Inside, we found a large box of baking soda, which appeared to have been placed there to try to absorb the odor. Since this was the only closet with baking soda, it seemed clear the issue was known beforehand. We had to close off the closet, move our clothes into the bathroom to keep them from smelling like dead animal, and hang them on the shower curtain rod. This was very inconvenient since we had to move our clothes every time we used the shower, but we adapted as best we could. Even after closing the closet door, it took two full days of airing out the bedroom before we felt like the air was clean enough to breathe comfortably.I am also still nursing a spider bite from our stay. While I understand the cabin is in the woods and critters are expected, there was an excessive presence of cobwebs and large spiders throughout the house—many of which appeared to have been there for some time. At night, we also heard critters clawing under the house as if they were trying to get inside, which made it difficult to rest peacefully.
