"Hotel had only 25 to 30 guests out of a capacity of 200 plus. Potentially a lovely place- near good walks and beach, nice grounds and rooms and good gym. But..... The spa which they are still advertising is unusuable €26 to play tennis !! The only vegetarian option at dinner, mushroom ravioli, contained meat ! No vegetarian option at all on 2nd night so we had to eat pasta and tomato sauce Laura was the only saviour as she put on a yoga class and tried to enthuse the small number of guests....

"So the facilities (breakfast, pool, access to beach etc) are all really good. Staff were excellent, as was the evening entertainment. The place does look good on the surface, but then you see it needs some TLC: pool ladders need fixing, elevators got stuck, sink plug lets water through, towel hooks spin around, finishing in disrepair etc. But on the whole it’s okay, and the location is very good w.r.t. local shops, bars restaurants etc. And for an extra €30/€50 they can extend check-out to 3.00 or 5.00 PM."

There was always space around the pool and it never felt overcrowded, having 2 meant there was a quieter space if you weren't interested in music or activities through the day. I was unwell during my stay and the hotel staff were super helpful in contacting a doctor for me, they couldn't have been more helpful. My only note would be that there isn't much around the hotel, if you're looking to explore on-foot at all - not an issue, but worth knowing if you were looking for something to do outside the hotel."
