"The hotel is wonderful The infinity and swimming pools are great. We did the tasting menu and flight of wines as it was my wife’s birthday all dishes were superb, there was a lovely cake left for my wife’s birthday on our arrival, the gardens are wonderfully designed and the view of mount teide amazing.. "La Gaviota was clean, nicely decorated, comfortable and very convenient for the beach, town and transport. In a 4-day stay, I never saw a member of staff after I was given my keys. On my first night, guests returning in the early hours were very noisy, and this went on for a long time. Also, someone tried my door - though probably a mistake. This becomes a problem when there's no owner/reception on-site presence. In future, as a solo traveller, I'd be happy to pay a few euros more for better...
