Good Hotel, Quiet Location

I stay here a few times a year. Rooms are a good size. Not luxurious but has the essentials and are clean and tidy. Town centre is 10 minute walk. Nice selection at breakfast.

Super séjour, propre, confort, juste ce qu'il faut. Je voulais faire une mention spéciale pour le service et la gentillesse du personnel, et la qualité du petit déjeuner. De loin, parmi les hôtels du même standing à Valenciennes, c'est le meilleur et le plus garni ! Bref, je recommande !

Hotel comodo, pulito con parcheggio privato ma si trova posto facilmente anche nell'area intorno, buona la colazione con una buona selezione tra dolce e salato. Il centro della città si trova a 10 minuti a piedi.

Schönes, altes Hotel Gebäude mit guten Zimmern. Diese sind mit den wesentlichen eingerichtet. Es ist alles sehr sauber, insgesamt ist es innen ein wenig zu alt. Eine Renovierung der Zimmer wäre notwendig. Insgesamt aber nichts wirklich schlimmes zu bemängeln. Sehr schöne Umgebung!

Hotel pas terrible

Nous ne sommes resté qu'une seule nuit , nous avons trouvé une chambre pas tres propre assez petite tres ma insonorisée, des oreillers tres mous. Un hotel très bruillant où les clients n'ont aucun respect des autres .

Nous avons effectué plusieurs séjours dans cet hôtel lors de nos différents passages dans la région, personnel sympa et accueil de nuit très appréciable, chambres propres et bons petits déjeuners, qq équipements manquent dans la sdb pour que ce soit parfait (miroir de maquillage, sèche cheveux)

For the third year in a row

For the third year in a row we stayed at the Hotel Baudouin in Valenciennes on the return journey from our holiday. This is and remains the ideal hotel for us. The rooms are spacious, remarkably quiet and the beds are excellent. We only regret that all bathrooms only have a bathtub but no shower. We can always park in the courtyard and the breakfast this year was better than ever: more varied and of excellent quality. Last but not least, the employees are extremely friendly and helpful. All these points in combination with the price make this the ideal hotel for us.

Chambre très basique pour ce 3*, salle de bain de Formule 1, pas de bouteille d’eau, pas de ventilation de la chambre trop chaude. Pas de climatisation

opnieuw een ideaal verblijf

In 2019 waren wij voor het eerst in Hôtel Baudouin in Valenciennes. Gelukkig konden wij ook in 2020 ondanks COVID-19 in Frankrijk op vakantie gaan. En zo belandden wij op de terugreis weer in Hôtel Baudouin. Onze ervaring met dit hotel werd nogmaals bevestigd. De medewerkers zijn bijzonder vriendelijk en attent. De kamers zijn ruim, schoon, smaakvol ingericht en comfortabel. Wij hadden zelfs een koelkast en een magnetron in onze kamer. De bedden zijn uitstekend en wij hadden hier opnieuw een goede nachtrust. Ook het ontbijt was uitgebreid en van goede kwaliteit. En niet op de laatste plaats is het voor ons essentieel dat honden welkom zijn en dat wij een privé parkeerplaats kunnen hebben. Nu hopen wij dat COVID-19 binnen afzienbare tijd uit de wereld verdwijnt en dat 2021 weer een gewoon en ouderwets vakantiejaar wordt. Wij komen graag terug in Hôtel Baudouin!

It's pretty much an Ibis. The parking garage is very narrow and cramped so I wouldn't advise parking there with a large vehicle.

the perfect choice

To us Hôtel Baudouin in Valenciennes was the perfect choice. The hotel offers nice rooms for a very good price, a private parking, good breakfast and dogs are allowed here. All this together is what we look for when we travel. This hotel also happens to be very close to a beautiful park, the «Park Rhônelle». And the city centre with lots of shops and restaurants is also just a short walk from the hotel. The staff is very, very friendly and helpfull. The room was perfectly clean. And we hope to be back next summer.
