"We stayed for a night on the way home from Germany. We knew not to judge the hotel from the outside. The reception, restaurant and bar area are really great and it was very child friendly. The room was quiet but artex over the walls and ceiling so it felt like we were sleeping in an iced cake! The lady in reception (Torchwood fan) was amazing. She spoke great English and really helped when I needed her to speak to the kitchen to see if they could do a basic off menu pasta meal for my daughter...
