"Bad experience at check in. We booked a room for 2 adults and a child and at check-in I had to prove that I had booked correctly through Expedia. I also had to prove that I had corresponded by email with the staff and was promised that I would get a cot (we arrived at midnight). The hotel is a bit old but well maintained. Facilities and cleanliness at a high level. Delicious food for breakfast and dinner. All in all, we left satisfied"

"I stayed in early June ( out of season in the area) the hotel was in effect closed, no staff there ( just someone who came to check us in ) so no bar or food. No option for breakfast. "I originally planned a single night's stay but was taken ill just as I was about to leave. The hotel were so helpful as they called an ambulance and looked after my belongings whilst I was in hospital. They also arranged for a room to be available for a couple of days when I was discharged from hospital. Very helpful and nice big apartment rooms, with the river running by right out front."
