"The impression on the initial entry into the building is ok but each step further in the building got worse and worse. We were there to watch the Tour de France so the location was excellent for that, but everything else was AWFUL. No sheets available on the filthy beds, no bath towels just 2 disgusting kitchen towels that were stained so badly it was hard to tell if they had been cleaned. Keep looking elsewhere because this place is not good."

"Pros: The owner has thought about all details, and made it very enjoyable to stay in that apartment. USB-socket for recharging phone and even possibility to connect phone to speakers in the room. Kitchen well equipped. TV has a lot of channels. Very good bathroom. The apartment was perfectly clean. Cons: Everything was fine. It is possible to make it even better by adding a small table with chairs in front of the house for enjoying a morning coffee or evening drink"

"We loved our room with the balcony area that provided a beautiful view of the mountains. Staff were very welcoming and spoke English which was very helpful! Beds were super cozy and the room had ample space for moving around and storing our luggage. We also loved that there was onsite parking."

"One of the worst travel experiences we've ever had - completely unprofessional and disrespectful. By looking at other people's reviews, it appears that we are not the only travelers to have our booking cancelled by Hotel Vacanceole without notice. Concerned by an email we received, we called our travel agent twice to confirm that our booking was still valid - and were reassured both times that the Hotel said the room was still available. After reaching the hotel, we arrived only to find out our room had been given away. No notice, no explanation, and no effort to make things right. There is no person attending the “reception desk” – this is not a hotel. To make matters worse, when we tried to call the company’s central reservations line, they said that they "don’t speak English” and hung up on us. Unacceptable behavior from any hospitality provider, let alone in the tourism industry. This experience was not only a major disruption to our trip, but also a glaring example of how not to treat guests. We strongly advise others to think twice before booking with this property or company. There are better options for real hotels directly across the street."

The lady in the reception was adorable, the bedsheets and towels were exceptionally clean. It was only 3 minutes away (car) from downtown and the telecabine.
