We had the most incredible stay with Franck at La Sicardie. 7 nights, it is deep in the Dordogne countryside but also within a couple of hours drive to Bordeaux, Bergerac, Perigeaux and all the incredible cave systems that litter the area.Our accommodation was perfect, exactly as described, lots of space for the kids to run around, meet the donkeys and generally have a wonderful summer. Franck and his family are delightful hosts, warm, kind and most generous! We had everything we could possibly want, and more . The pool is a stunning and most welcome feature as well.Thank you Franck, Merci a vous Franck, hope you enjoy as much as we did! I hope we will be back!

Lovely stay

The place is beautiful, nestled in a quiet area surrounded by forests, wheat fields and a small strawberry farm. It is a great pied-à-terre to visit the Dordogne region. Kids loved the pool, and adults enjoyed the nice outdoor patio to barbecue and relax.Franck is a lovely host. A really nice week!

A perfect holiday.

We had an amazing time at the gite with our 13 and 11 year old children. The space was amazing, loads of room, lovely pool with a lovely shaded outdoor dining area to kick back at the end of the day with a BBQ. The location is brilliant for discovering Perigeux, local markets and villages and canoeing. Franke ensured we were really well looked after and was the perfect host. We had lots of laughs and interesting conversations. Would highly recommend for a family holiday or a trip with the friends. The photos don't do it justice! Highly recommended!

Quel agréable séjour nous avons passé. Nous étions 2 familles d'amis avec 7 enfants et nous avons été reçu comme des rois. Franck est une personne tellement gentille et bienveillante que cette semaine dans son magnifique gîte à été très agréable pour nous. Il était aux petits soins et disponible pour toutes nos demandes. Le gîte est très beau, rénové avec goût et bien pensé pour être ensemble ou séparé si on le décide. Notre séjour à été vraiment parfait et nous le recommandons les yeux fermés. Merci Franck

Hébergement encore mieux que sur les photos, fraises et prunes nous attendaient, logement spacieux avec coin ombragé, literies au top, piscine agréable et sécurisée, on se croit au bout du monde et pourtant le coin est plein d'activités à proximité: parc de loisir, canoé, grottes, karting, ... Une belle semaine de vacances en famille bien conseillés par le maitre des lieux au petits soins.

Nous avons passé une semaine de rêve dans cette ferme perigourdine refaite récemment. Franck, le propriétaire est quelqu'un d une grande gentillesse et très à l écoute de ses locataires. Le logement est fait pour passer des vacances agreables en famille ou à plusieurs. La localisation à 10 min du Bugues permet d etre à proximité des commerces et de différentes activités.

Séjour agreable sous la grisaille

Beaux gites spacieux et le propriétaire est accueillant et present sans etre envahissant. Il y a bcp de choses a voir et de petit marcher a decouvrir a moins d une heure de route, heureusement pour nous car la meteo n etait pas de la partie pour notre séjour. Petit bemol a mes yeux la piscine est entourée d un grillage pour la sécurité des enfants (ce qui est important) mais degage une legere impression d enfermement du coup. Néanmoins nous avons passé un bon sejour et je recommande volontier :)
