Mas Les Echelettes
9.4 out of 10, Exceptional, (55)
"Lovely B&B located in the middle of lavender fields. The owners were friendly, room was clean, and pool was nice. We stay in late July, there are a lot of mosquitoes around pool so I recommend to have mosquitoes spray handy. May be because due to the covid, dinner at the B&B was not available. Either we go to a restaurant or get something at the supermarket. We were tired from the long drive so we just bought some things at the supermarket and ate at the terrace with a bottle of local wine. I...

"Fantastic farmhouse on the slopes of Mont Ventoux in a small village amongst the vineyards. The host is very welcoming and charming. The room we stayed in was very clean and tidy. On suite bathroom shower. The room had air conditioning. Very comfortable beds. Very large garden to enjoy along with a nice cool pool. Parking was in the grounds of the farmhouse. Breakfast was continental lots of choice and all fresh. Restaurant nearby. Really enjoyed our short break there. Ideal to explore the...

Le Vieux Platane
9.8 out of 10, Exceptional, (7)
"Friendly welcome and very comfortable room. The swimming pool is beautiful. Excellent breakfast. The kitchen area for guests is well-equipped and very useful. The local area is varied and interesting - off the beaten tourist track, but a must for wine-lovers. Good markets in local towns and villages, and Roman remains to explore. My second stay at Vieux Platanes, and I am sure to return."

B&B Le Mas de la Soie
9.4 out of 10, Exceptional, (19)
"This place has huge potential to be amazing but there are some things that are not there yet. It is a beautiful, traditional building with a pool and outdoor bbq to use which are both brilliant. You need a car because it isn’t close to things but it is located in beautiful vineyards, close to lovely, small, French towns to explore. The host was a little unfriendly when we arrived and kept her distance, but that does mean it feels like you have the place to yourself. There are only 5 other rooms...

Mas du Clos de l'Escarrat
9.4 out of 10, Exceptional, (11)
"In August, my Partner and I rented the upstairs, two bedroom Mistral apartment. On our arrival, we received a very friendly welcome from Denis, Claudia and Calice...! Our accommodation was superb... spacious, very nicely decorated, comfortable and spotlessly clean. It overlooked the pretty gardens via French doors. Outside, we had a small private area with table and chairs and ample parking. We had use of the swimming pool, gardens and barbecue. There are very nice walks through the vineyards...

La Verrière

"There are hotels, and there is La Verriere! The desceiption online does not give ita due to the place. We stayed for 2 nights but could probbaly have stayed for a week and enjoy. The best word to describe La Verriere is 'impeccable'. It is located at the Chene Bleu winery at a 9th centiry priory. The hotel part of the estate offers a lovely garden, an infinity pool, a hot tub, and a small gym. There is also a summer kitchen with coffee, tea, some sweets and refrigirators. We bought our lunch at...

B&B Temps Suspendu Provence
9.4 out of 10, Exceptional, (11)
"I don't normally review too many places I stay. They either have to be an incredible experience, or a horrible experience. Our stay at Temps Suspendu was INCREDIBLE! The location of the hotel is perfect, right in the old town and walking distance to everything. Parking is free and there is a big parking lot less than one minute walk away. The building itself has a very cool feel to it and our room was so lovely, cute and comfortable. Included breakfast was delicious! They have turned the back...

House with private pool just for you. Aillan Hervé
8.0 out of 10, Very good, (8)
"I checked this morning, and the property is still shown as being in Vaison La Romaine, still claims to be a short walk from the sights of Vaison, and the map show this to be the case. However, this is a total LIE. The house is in Saint Maurice sur Eygues, which is more than 15mins from Vaision by Car. The owner was quick to offer us 100 euros (so he obviously knew) but this didn't cover the cost of us staying in Vaison for two nights to spend time with the friends we were supposed to meet there....

AIR-CONDITIONED VILLA WITH PRIVATE HEATED POOL
9.6 out of 10, Exceptional, (14)
"This was a perfect stay for us. The villa is just outside the main town (which was much larger and livelier than we had anticipated, a good choice of supermarkets and an excellent bakery.) Th villa is very private. The pool is great, and having it heated makes a big difference, even though the weather was warm it meant there was never a shock getting in. The villa is well appointed, with a massive spacious lounge. We didn't use the air conditioning much but it was appreciated for getting the...

Charming Gites in Provence, with pool
9.8 out of 10, Exceptional, (56)
"The property was clean and tidy, with a lovely outdoor terrace. The pool was a welcome relief from the scorching temperatures, and after a hot day sightseeing it was lovely to take a refreshing dip. The gite is located an easy 10 minute amble into Vaison - a bustling market town with all the facilities one could need. There are some quirks - there is only one loo, which is downstairs whilst the shower room is upstairs. There is also no wash hand basin in the loo. Also, the VRBO listing states...
