"We stayed three nights over Easter at Capelongue, just one day after opening for the season—and unfortunately, it showed throughout. Check-in was poorly managed. We arrived at 12:30 with a pre-confirmed early check-in, yet no one could tell us when the room would be ready. We were sent to lunch (which was good), but even at 15:10 the room was still not available. When we pointed out that Expedia listed check-in from 15:00, we were told it was actually 16:00. We were eventually given the room shortly after, but the process felt disorganised. We booked a Deluxe Terrace but were given what seemed to be one of the smallest in that category, in the older part of the hotel. No seating area as shown in photos, visible dust, and a terrace next to the parking with a loud AC unit running constantly. It’s hard not to wonder whether booking via Expedia influenced the room allocation. Service lacked consistency: pool towels not cleared or set up properly, pool water not very clean, and empty glasses left around. Basic standards were missing. On the positive side, the food was good and restaurant service attentive, and the property is visually appealing. Overall, however, the experience fell short. Would return, but not at the start of the season."

"We were looking for a hilltop Luberon village in which to celebrate a special birthday and we were not disappointed with Pierre's Gite in St Martin de Castillon. The Gite is situated in the heart of St Martin, within easy 2 minute walking distance from a carpark. The Gite is over 3-4 levels with each area revealing an eclectic range of furnishing, sculptures and art works in what is obviously a well loved and respected family home. All of the rooms were excellent with well appointed bedrooms, bathrooms and lounge, but the rooftop terrace provided an amazing place to sit, drink, eat and simply gaze out over the beautiful valley vista. There is a well stocked local store with everything you would need, and there are major supermarkets in Apt, a 20 minute drive away. The local bar serves great beer and wines and has pizzas available a few nights a week. It's a great place to sit drink and fraternise with the locals.The town itself is fascinating to walk through but it also offers access to the vast number of other local hilltop villages. You would be hard pressed to visit them all! The only down side was that the instructions given to us by BookaBatch were out of date and did not tell us how to access the Gite. However, a quick phone call to Pierre had everything sorted very quickly. This problem was not Pierre's fault, but it might pay to check the date stamp on the access instructions!"

"We picked based on location and reviews. Unfortunately the photos were not what we got. The room was very much outdated. The whole property needs a facelift. The rooms looked rundown "

"The grounds of this property are very beautiful--the pool, the breakfast area, gorgeous. This is a very beautiful area as well. The room itself doesn't match the grounds--ours was built like a small mobile home instead of a permanent structure. It was very tiny and not particularly comfortable. We pack light, but if you have a lot of belongings it will be very crowded in there. Our cabin had two tiny bathrooms; one was cleaned and prepared for us, but the other one still had the previous guests' garbage in it, and it was not restocked with soap, etc. Not a big deal, but when I mentioned it as we checked out they didn't seem surprised about this oversight, so that made me wonder about the general cleanliness of the rooms. Again, the grounds are truly beautiful here, and the pool was so nice and very enjoyable with a gorgeous view. Just a mismatch between room quality and property quality. I do feel this is priced a bit high after seeing the room itself. "

"10/10 hotel. We checked in around 7:30 pm, walked over to a charming outdoor restaurant, enjoyed the very large room, had a lovely buffet breakfast under the shade of mulberry trees, and were able to relax by the pool well after we checked out. Great amenities, staff, and overall set up. "
