"Nice bungalow with good outdoor spaces, but with a few issues - some strange lighting arrangements where you have to plug a cable in to turn on a light, and the bedrooms are tiny, with a very noisy/squeaky bunk bed in one of them Decent shower, and kitchen seems well equipped. We were not told that soap and toiletries are not provided, but the host was very communicative and helpful, and dropped some off for us anyway."

"Heating system not working while being at -3 degree and the house isolation system is not efficient for winter, from the doors and windows you can feel the cold wind coming in. "Unser Wochenende in der Ferienwohnung war okay.Die Ausstattung an Büchern, Spielen auch für Kinder, inklusive einer Toni-Box ist sehr gut.Die Küchen Ausstattung ist etwas speziell und etwas zusammen gewürfelt. Dessert Teller gab es keine. Und die Küchen Schränke mit dem Geschirr hängen so hoch an der Wand, daß eine Körpergröße von mindestens 170cm schon gut wäre.Das Schlafzimmer ist super ausgestattet. Gute Betten und Bettzeug."

"The Andrè Rieu package was very well done. The hotel was very accommodating in allowing us to stay in the same room, although we had booked 2 nights separately from the concert package. And they gave us an upgrade at no extra cost for one of the nights when there were no similar rooms to our package room. They made everything easy and the food overall was great as well."

Location is perfect—train station and restaurants right nearby; easy walk to city center—and the hostel itself has plenty of pleasant spaces to land Definitely a lot of stairs (on the steep/short tread depth side), which caught us off-guard with heavy luggage, but we managed and it was definitely worth it. Accessibility issues could be challenging at other times."

"Beautiful, older hotel that needs some TLC. Very friendly staff who are always there to help. The room was relatively clean but is desperate for a make over.....it's showing its age. The hotel decor is quite old fashioned with lots of dark wood and old furniture but still very comfortable. Unfortunately, it's not very good value for money. We stayed for 2 nights which were really quite expensive but it was during an Andre Reiu concert weekend so it's only to be expected. The location is ideal for train travellers, which we were, being literally 100 yards from the station. However, it's on the wrong side of the river for the beautiful old town of Maastricht and the big square where the concert is....about 25 minute slow walk. Would we return? Absolutely."
