The property was nicer then the photos depicted. They were a few issues that arise during our stay, We reached out to Jody and within 30 minutes she had someone address the issues. The experience my family and I had we will always cherished. Would like to thank everyone for the amazing experience we had during our vacation! Our stay was July 18th though the 21st! There are two areas that can be enjoyed, First one is at the resort itself which the river is nice and quiet and a little deeper to enjoy swimming and canoeing. Second area is outside of the resort on the other side of the bridge were it is shallower from one to four foot deep. Our routine was to go enjoy the river outside of resort right after breakfast with the kids before the public arrived and then return to the resort to enjoy the privacy and quietness of the resort.
Rented a place for the week. Location was absolutely perfect. It was conveniently located to the things we wanted to spend our time doing. The beds were comfortable and the place was clean. He had a little AC issue and WiFi connectivity issue upon arrival, but the property managers responded promptly and had things fixed for us ASAP.
Sunset is incredible. Stars at night. I’m back home! Live in Dallas now. Great to come and be quiet.
Bed was super comfortable.
Fire pit and two grills. Charcoal, propane. Saw lots of deer. Everything worked. Just bring food. Caught six Bass. Largest was a 1.78 pounder.
So beautiful at the river.
Concerns were a couch is needed in living room for sure. Daybed really doesn’t cut it.
Full length mirror needed.
The only reason we probably won’t come back is the cabin is advertised “on the river. “ I emailed beforehand and was told, “Yes the cabin is on the river. “
The cabins are not on the river. It’s a walk. We drove every time because we had fishing gear.
Overall great place. We had a ball
