"What a place! Needed a break from Stockholm city while working away. Certainly found peace in the beautiful setting! Rooms are quite dated, but very clean and perfectly equipped. The food was OUTSTANDING!! Didn’t get chance to use the pool/sauna but would definitely recommend."

"I returned 3 times during my one month travels in Scandinavia. The rooms were very clean. The breakfasts I had were out of this world with so many choices all fresh and tasty. The front desk staff always were very nice and would give just a little more each time I had an inquiry or request"

"My stay, overall, was excellent. I had a bit of trouble getting connected to the right person who would let me in the building, but once I met her, she was extremely gracious and helpful-even with deciphering a matter connected to my mobile phone. Check-out was fairly straightforward, though there was no mention of where to take the sheets and towels. I spotted the bin downstairs, and so will know for next time. Also, there is no way to safely place the room key, when Reception is closed. There is a key box, but it requires a code, which I did not have. I was able to leave the key with a housekeeper."

"The host was extremely accomodating and found us an alternative place to say when we could not stay at the original place we had booked (Modern villa with Jacuzzi). They made me and my friends feel really welcome and went out of their way to help. I really reccomend staying at places hosted by Home Swede Home AB!"

540sqm Luxury design house by the lake with pools

"While this property has a stunning location with beautiful outdoor areas, it falls short of luxury rental standards. Major issues included: inadequate WiFi (only works in living room), safety hazards (protruding nails which we had to cover over ourselves, dangerously low pool chlorine/pH levels which we had to spend over 800 SEK to test and rectify ourselves as the owner insisted it was fine despite us raising concerns), and poor bedroom standards (insufficient pillows, small duvets, non-blackout curtains).The main fridge stopped working entirely during our stay, forcing us to move all our food/beverages to other fridges throughout the house. Other problems: broken ventilation system for most of our 8-night stay, appliances dirty/poorly maintained, previous guest or owners' items left in tumble dryer, dust and dead insects on furniture, and disorganized laundry and storage areas.We chose this property for a milestone family celebration and expected a luxury experience given the premium price. Unfortunately, the property appears managed with minimal investment. While we loved the stunning location, I cannot recommend this property until fundamental maintenance and cleanliness standards are addressed."
