"The kitchen was very well stocked with pots and pans and utensils.The hosts were very easy to communicate with, readily available and very informative.They were quick to respond. We had an initial issue with the Wi-Fi and they were available and there to fix it within the hour.The house is very spacious, and our group had a very nice time."

"Beautiful location. Great communication with owners when booking and prior to arrival. We loved the kayaks and paddle boards. The game room was a lot of fun. Appreciated the laundry machine. On the down side there are a few areas that could use some improvement. We were a bit startled by the number of cameras everywhere on the property. It made it feel like we were always being watched instead of privately enjoying a family trip. We tried to grill burgers, but when we lit the grill it went up in flames. It probably works fine, but needs cleaned to be used safely. The kitchen would benefit from having a flat griddle pan. The second bedroom steps are a bit awkward because they aren’t the same height, which caused a few stumbles in the night. The bed in that room is also very uncomfortable for two adults, as you sink into the middle. We found the chairs in the family room area to smell like urine - hopefully a deep clean can fix that. The sink in the bathroom off the kitchen also drains extremely slow - probably an easy fix.Despite the cons, we enjoyed our stay. It’s a really great location, especially if coming to town for a baseball tournament. We were closer to the fields than anyone on our team, but also on the lake!"

Cozy Lake Front Cottage w/dock, perfect family retreat!

"We needed a place to stay while attending a funeral in January - and the middle of the winter is not a ususal time for VRBOs at the lake. But we were able to get this home, and it worked out very well! If it were summer, this would likely be five stars across the board, but since we were the first people who ever stayed there in the winter, there were a couple of things that woulid have been nice - and I suspect the owner will listen to this and do that for future winter stays! It was cold in the house. Not unbearable, but cold enough that we asked the owners to bring by a couple of extra space heaters, which they immediately did. That took care of the upstairs - if you have anough people that some are staying in the basement room in the winter, you likely would need to figure out heat for there. And it has a great fireplace, that doesn't work! I realize it isn't needed in the summer, but for a winter stay, how perfect would that have been? The inside was clean, the deck l,ooking over the lake could have used some attention, but again - winter. We didn't even want to hang out there in the cold!Other than that, I have only good things to say. I'm a HUGE fan of MCM architecture, and this home made me happy in that regard. I would really lean into that if it were mine! Also, it was very, very well stocked with anything we would need. I super appreciated the responsiveness of the hosts, as we were there for a sad reason."
