The hotel is very cozy with a nice bar/restaurant and outdoor courtyard. Breakfast was quite nice as well. The room was badic but fully fonctional.

I loved it! Smooth check-in, free street parking, very comfortable room with a bathroom and even a kitchenette - all for a very affordable price. Would definitely return!

I had an incredible experience at Hotel Botanika! Very nice hotel with friendly staff, great breakfast, and I appreciated the sense of humor written on random signs in the hotel. Love the theme!

Gem of a Hotel in Uppsala

Hotel Botanika is a great place to stay when in Uppsala. The staff is quite friendly and helpful, and the breakfast is amazing, with lots of great choices. Being a budget hotel, the rooms are utilitarian, but had a certain chic about them. We would definitely stay there again!

Caters more to a younger demographic with trendy sayings in English on the walls along with American and British culture and murals in the lobby. Staff was very friendly and helpful and we loved the outdoor breakfast courtyard. Within walking distance to the train station and Uppsala sights. A little bigger than the small boutique feel.

Good service, fair price

Nice place for the price. The shower gets most of the bathroom wet but that is semi by design so it will drain. Otherwise they have everything you need and I’d recommend to friends.

Friendly staff, decent breakfast, view of the Linneaus garden from the room. Bathroom however was small. Sink was very small. Room had a fridge and microwave but no utensils or plates. 15,min walk from central station and lots of walkable places nearby. Main floor has plenty of space for working, drinking, etc.

Very nice place with great staff, easy/walkable activities and sights (the river walk us around the corner). Parking is listed as available, but that's only if you request it "months in advance". Great kitchenette in the rooms, but no utensils, coffee pot, etc... (you can ask at the desk). Very small toilet/ bathroom.

Mycket bra välkomnade fick checka in flera timmar innan för vårat rum va redan klart. Ej mörkläggande gardiner så blev lite ljust. Något smutsigt. En fin ordentlig frukost, möjlighet att sitta ute på deras bakgård riktigt mysigt.

Trevligt bemötande. Lunchutrymmet kan göras mysigare. Stolarna väsnas när man flyttar på dem. Behöver göras tystare. Koffeinfritt kaffe saknade jag. Viktigt för oss som har njursvikt. Lobbyn lite torftig. Inredningen behöver ses över. Saknas en spegel i rummet som kan visa mig i helfigur. En långsmal spegel. I hissen fanns många skyltar men ingen uppmaning till att vi bör hälsa God morgon när man åker ner till frukosten. Det gör man i andra länder. Avslutningsvis kände jag att ni visade omtanke om mig som gäst. Det kändes mkt positivt. Bra frukost också.

Blandad kompott!

Extremt litet badrum. När man duschade blev hela badrumsgolvet blött. Fanns ingen spegel i rummet. Brukar alltid finnas en helkroppsspegel på alla hotell jag tidigare besökt. Borde finnas ett litet bord där man kan sitta och fixa hår, make up. Med spegel ovanför. Sätt möbeltassar på alla stolar i lobbyn. Extremt skärande ljud när man flyttar en stol. Fel typ av bord i lobbyn. Onödigt stora. Svårt att hitta ett ledigt bord till frukosten. Man vill helst inte dela bord med en massa okända människor. Maten var ingen höjdare. Beställde hamburgare, ingen jättepositiv upplevelse. Positiva var jättesköna sängar i rummet, bra läge nära centrum, trevlig personal, framför allt killen i baren måndag 7/7. Det var även rent och snyggt på rummet.

Först efter incheckningen läste jag en del recensioner om hotellet. Känner igen mig i många negativa upplevelser MEN jag betalade också en låg summa för två nätter. Läget är toppen 👌 Rummet kändes ganska bra, betyget drogs ned betydligt pga. skicket och storleken på badrummet. Toaletten vickade på golvet/satt lös i rum 212 som vi bodde i. Duschen var ganska sjaskig. (Jag har haft ett större och finare badrum i min tidigare studentlght, säger en del över upplevelsen tycker jag). Kändes inte som den hotellupplevelse man vill ha när man väl bor på hotell. Är man inte petig med boende så funkar det nog men för en trevlig upplevelse så är det värt att välja annat boende. Frukosten var ok men rätt utplockad snabbt. Trevlig lobby och god cappuccino.
