"Die Lage ist ruhig, das angrenzende Freibad sehr schön und preiswert. Ausgangspunkt für Wanderungen. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und stets bemüht. Das Frühstück abwechslungsreich. Auch das Angebot zum Abendessen ist abwechslungsreich und nicht zu teuer. Alles sehr sauber und gepflegt. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und kommen bestimmt einmal wieder."
"Historic hotel located at the edge of the old town. The rooms have been recently remodeled and ours was comfortable. Breakfast buffet was very good - better than most these days. Friendly host - many languages spoken & guests were from many lands. "

Der Service beim Essen ist verbesserungsfähig. Es kommt aber auf den einzelnen Mitarbeiter an. In manchen Bereichen wurde nicht wirklich das Geschirr abgeräumt.
Kein Fisch zum Frühstück. Sonst aber gut.
Abendessen wird ständig aufgefüllt und lecker!"

"Quick in check. Be aware after 18 hrs, reception closed. Bar closed early. Hotel nice, good hotel if you have children. Not possible to sit on the terrasse in the evening. Best restaurant in town, pass the cabel track, up the Hill, right hand, Ratsstube.. it was absolutely top class"

"Quite the dilemma, this hotel. Whilst the facilities are very good, the attitude of the staff, beginning with check-in are so poor (I would go so far as to say completely bereft of anything resembling customer service) that my work team and friends who regularly visit Goslar will never be staying here again (The Hotel Schiefer will now be receiving our business).
