"Jared (the owner) made our stay at Hubbards beach one we wont soon forget. The staff accommodated our every need, going above and beyond to secure us provisions when all the shops were closed for canada day. "Hubbard’s is such a great little area and the beach is beautiful. I come here every summer and have stayed in most of these cottages. "Frank and Val's waterfront property was just the perfect setting. Peaceful with just the sound of wild life around us.The cottage was exceptionally clean, well maintained and very nicely stocked with everything you could possibly need. The seaside decor was lovely and the rooms were all very comfortable and inviting. The outside seating areas were cozy and the fire pit was very nice.The hosts were very quick to respond to any queries and the binder with information about the cottage was handy. We would definitely stay here again."

"The host was terrific at communication with us. The location was beautiful and very quiet & peaceful. Views were amazing! There were a couple of candy wrappers on the living room floor and the dining room table was very dusty. The patio could have used a sweep as well. Nothing too major, but should be noted, especially at this price point. My biggest complaint was the bed. The bedroom is beautifully decorated and the bed looked amazing. However, Im 5' tall and the bed is extremely high! I was unable to get into it, and spent the night sleeping on the couch. If I was younger and without mobility issues, it mightve been manageable. This is the first time in my 60+ years that I couldn't get into a bed ..... and I've traveled a lot. Very disappointed."

"We didn’t get a good impression when we went to check in as no one was there. We stood there for 15-20 minutes but no one came. We rang the bell and phoned, but still no one answered. Finally, we called and left a message and the owner came from the back to check us in. The staircase to the upstairs (first impression for visitors) was filthy. We get it, people come in with their shoes on, but first impressions mean a lot. The breakfast was okay and we were happy he asked about dietary restrictions when checking in. Parking was really good at the back."
