Wow! What an unexpected surprise. The grounds and staff were beyond our expectations and certainly lived up to its high rating. The dinner was great and the staff was very attentive to detail. We will definitely be back!

Peaceful spot after hot days work

Even a few days after flooding as the Orange River rose and flooded their lawns - the BnB was immaculate. Great service - friendly staff - rooms had a lot of creature comforts. Will certainly consider them as a future stay in Upington. Breakfast were awesome.

Das kleine Hotel liegt malerisch direkt Oranje River. Der Transfer vom Flughafen Upington war einfach organisierbar und gut. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich, hilfsbereit und angenehm. Das Essen abends war sehr schmackhaft und von sehr guter Qualität. Auch das Frühstück ließ keine Wünsche offen. Insgesamt war meine erste Nacht in Upington ausgezeichnet und ich würde jederzeit wiederkommen.

Simply Gorgeous!

The service was excellent, my room was spacious and very comfortable, dinner was fresh and delicious, the view of the Orange River from my room and the surrounding scenery was stunning!

Amazing place - Beautiful setting on the Orange River. Fantastic Rooms - Staff very friendly and helpful from arrival to departure. They went out of their way to make our stay comfortable. Food was outstanding. Morne and Elmarie was outstanding in their respective roles and been well supported by all the staff

Best place to stay in Upington

The rooms are well equipped with modern, quality finishes. It's comfortable, clean and spacious with a wonderful view of the river. The manager and staff are friendly and assisting. The restaurant exceeded my expectations with a varied menu and wine list and our food were delicious. The same with breakfast. Will definitely stay there again.

We love staying here on our way to the Kgalagadi. The rooms are lovely & spacious, comfortable & have lovely views of the Orange River.

Wir haben eine Nacht in dem Hotel gebucht und waren begeistert. Der Ausblick vom Zimmer auf den Fluss ist vor allem zum Sonneruntergang genial. Insgesamt ist der Außenbereich mit Garten, Pool und einigen Liegemöglichkeiten sehr schön angelegt und lädt zum entspannen ein. Die Zimmer sind geschmackvoll eingerichtet (hatten auch einen Kühlschrank) und sehr sauber geputzt. Ebenfalls sehr gut war das Frühstück Ein paar Kleinigkeiten haben mich während dem Aufenthalt gestört. Zum einen fahren die Motorboote eines Wasserskianbieters immer vor dem Hotel auf und ab was die Idylle trübt. Ebenfalls schade fand ich die Lärmbelästigung anderer Gäste mit BlueTooth-Radios ohne nennenswerten Eingriff des Hotelpersonals. Dies hat sich immer weiter hochgeschaukelt, da sich die belästigt gefühlten Gäste damit beholfen haben ebenfalls Musik übers Handy etc. zu spielen bis man kaum mehr draußen sitzen konnte. Wenn ich ein Hotel zu diesem Preis buche möchte ich auch meine Ruhe haben und das sollte das Hotelpersonal auch einfordern.

Beautiful and Accomodating

We just stayed for one night after visiting the Kgalagadi, but the room was clean and modern. The back lawn is absolutely beautiful, with a small pool, lounge chairs, and a river-front view. It was perfect for what we needed, and the staff was very accommodating when I asked for an early breakfast before my flight!
