Great stay in a small town with awesome hosts

We enjoyed our stay at this converted school house. Close to the train station with a bakery and a little beer garden nearby! Our hostess Solitaire was a great guide and speaks great English

Great place for a restful retreat

A great location to rest while being about an hour away from lots of fun things to do. We stayed 9 nights in the middle of a European tour with our six kids. There is an excellent playground, bakery and restaurant/beer garden within walking distance. The space is very well situated to accommodate 6 or 7. We were comfortable but think that we would have been very happy with a slightly smaller party. The apartment is over our host’s home. The windows do not have screens, and we did have flys and a couple bug bites. There was only one fan in the apartment. Mostly that was fine but a couple very hot days left us wishing for another fan or two. The bells toll every 15 minutes around the clock. It’s really charming and lovely.

Wonderful Place!!

This is a wonderful place to stay at! We had 7 people (ranging in age from 15 to parents of the kids) in our group and never felt like we were on top of each other. The picture of the front door in the listing didn’t show the roses that were atop the door or the rose petals that would fall over night leaving a dusting on the ground. I would not recommend if you cannot handle stairs. This location has 5 levels in it. I will say that while there were lots of stairs, it added so much to the charm of the place. I would HIGHLY recommend this location to anyone who is fine with the stairs and would like a cute and quite place to stay! If I am ever back in Munich, I would want to stay here again and the teens even said the same thing!

Outstanding in every way!

We booked Evi’s place for our family of ten, including kids ranging in age from 1-16. I cannot say enough about how lovely and perfect our entire stay was! First off, Evi is a wonderful hostess who made us feel welcome long before we arrived. She was incredibly easy to work with, and responded quickly to our questions. The apartment itself was absolutely immaculately spotlessly clean and well-stocked with anything one might need even for an extended stay such as ours, including some really awesome board games. The entire atmosphere is one of relaxation and feeling welcome. Just across the street there is a sports field and an amazing forest playground with a brook running through it that my kids absolutely adored, and spent many hours at. Also within a couple of minutes walk is the most amazing bakery in the region, where you can get fresh bread every morning for breakfast. The drive into the next largest town is a quick 10 minute jaunt. Munich is 45 minutes away, as are countless other destinations in the Alps, the surrounding lakes, etc. This location is the perfect starting point in all directions. This review does not adequately convey how much we enjoyed our time here. We hope to be able to come back someday.

Reise zurück in die Kindheit

Zu meinem 60. Geburtstag fuhren wir, mein Mann & ich, mit Kindern und Anhang, auch vierbeinigen, in die Heimat meiner Mutter, das Allgäu. Unsere Unterkunft bietete dafür den gemütlichen Rahmen, von dort starteten jeden Tag unsere Unternehmungen und wir kamen immer wieder gerne zurück. Eine sympathische Gastgeberin riet uns zu netten Lokalen. Leider lies das Wetter nicht zu, öfter im Garten zu sitzen. Am ersten Abend grillten wir dort, freuten uns über die verschmusten Nachbarskatzen. Aber die Abende am Esstisch, oder im Wohnzimmer taten der Stimmung keinen Abbruch. Gerne werden wir uns an diese Tage zurück erinnern. Es war rundherum harmonisch, auch ein bisschen Staub und Spinnweben können das nicht ändern. Ein Objekt in dieser Größe, mit dem vielen Holz, ist schwer gänzlich sauber zu halten. Eine happy family!

Prima!

De directe omgeving was voor ons niet aantrekkelijk. Mooie straat (met een kerkklok die wel heel veel keer slaat), bakker dichtbij (contant betalen) maar wel echt een slaapdorpje. Wij verbleven hier vanwege een concert bezoek in München en we hebben een prettige tijd in het huis gehad.

Wunderschön Ostern im Familienkreis

Alles war bestens, die Ausstattung, die Umgebung, alles schöner als erwartet. Wir wurde sehr freundlich von Frau Hammer begrüßt und auch der Check-Out verlief völlig unproblematisch. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und die Osterzeit in der Familie zusammen dort sehr genossen.

Wunderschöner Weihnachtsaufenthalt

Wir kommen ursprünglich aus der Nähe vom Ammersee und lieben diese landschaftlich so idyllische Gegend sehr. Aus beruflichen Gründen sind wir mittlerweile weiter weggezogen und haben im letzten Jahr die Gelegenheit genutzt, in der Ferienwohnung von Frau Hammer gemeinsam mit unserer gesamten Familie Weihnachten zu feiern. Wir hatten eine wundervolle Zeit in einer sehr charmanten und besonderen Wohneinheit mit einer sehr zuvorkommenden und hilfsbereiten Gastgeberin. Wir denken noch gerne daran zurück und können einen Aufenthalt bei Frau Hammer nur wärmstens empfehlen.

Eine außergewöhnliche Wohnung mit Wohlfühl Atmosphäre

Wir haben die Wohnung für ein Familientreffen ausgesucht. Sowohl die 4 Kinder als auch die 6 Erwachsenen waren von der außergewöhnlichen Atmosphäre dieser Wohnung total begeistert. Wir haben die gemeinsamen Mahlzeiten am großen Esstisch und das gemütliche Beisammensein in der Sitzecke sehr genossen. Wir werden die Wohnung mit Sicherheit wieder buchen.

Eine wirklich außergewöhnliche Unterkunft

Das Haus hat durch die Aufteilung einen wirklich außergewöhnlichen Charme. Die Betten waren sehr bequem. Die Küchenausstattung war super, man konnte wirklich toll kochen. Die Lage ist top, man ist in 45 Minuten in München und genauso lange benötigt man bis zum Schloß Neuschwanstein. Einfach empfehlenswert und das gilt auch für die sympathische Vermieterin.

In der Summe sehr schön. Böden, Bäder, Betten sehr gut und sauber. Wunderschöner Leuchter leider völlig verstaubt. Fenster auch schon länger nicht geputzt. Meckern auf hohem Niveau. Geschirr/Gläser/Töpfe und Pfannen reichlich vorhanden. Wir haben uns trotzdem sehr wohl gefühlt.

Wir werden gerne zurück kommen !

Wir haben über Weihnachten ein paar sehr schöne Tage in der Ferienwohnung verbracht. Die Umgebung ist herrlich und eignet sich ideal zum wandern und spazieren gehen. Unsere Hündin war auch herzlich willkommen! Die Wohnung verfügt über alles was das Herz begehrt; es fehlt an nichts. 5 Sterne ! :)

Wohnung & Host laden zur Auszeit ein

Wir hatten ein super schönes langes Wochenende in Unterdießen. Die Unterkunft war für 3 Paare sehr geräumig, nur dass das obere Schlafzimmer nicht richtig verschlossen werden kann, ist schade (wir haben aber einfach durchgewechselt). Ansonsten ist die Wohnung top ausgestattet und liegt, wie von uns gewünscht, einfach etwas ab vom Schuss. Man kann super schön spazieren gehen, durch kleine Dörfer und schöne Wälder. Wenn man möchte, ist man auch schnell in Landsberg am Lech. Die Besitzerin ist super nett und zuvorkommend gewesen und war stets für uns erreichbar. Ich kann diese Unterkunft für eine entspannte Auszeit nur weiterempfehlen!

Beautiful Heritage Cottage in a Remarkable Location

This beautifully restored school house, now a 3 story cottage, has incredible architectural details. It has a been lovingly cared for and the owner provides many nice amenities. There is a washer in the large main bathroom, and a smaller bathroom on the lowest floor. There are 3 bedrooms, one on each floor though the middle bedroom does not have a window. The two upper bedrooms do not have doors so this may not be a good choice for couples. The area has a wonderful bakery, nice forest walks, a friendly pub with excellent beer and schnitzel at the end of the road, and more great restaurants and big grocery stories just a few miles away. You definitely need a car to explore the wonderful countryside. The Church bells ring on the 1/4 hour. We loved our stay.
