The walk up and down the hill to the lake was a little rough but worth it once you got down there and were able to fish. It's catch and release by the way. The cabin was clean and it has a full kitchen with all the utensils you would need. Very peaceful and quiet.
Watch out for ticks while walking down to the lake for fishing (we got bit by a tick).Faucets are loose or backwards.Hottub was great.Plenty of supplies for cooking!
We love this place. The location was just far enough away from everything to make you feel you were alone but close enough to get to things so you weren't isolated. The rooms were large and spacious. The kitchen was well stocked except for a cutting board. The hot tub was nice but only lukewarm not HOT. It could have been hotter. If you are into fishing like my son is, the pond was awesome. It's catch and release and he was catching constantly. His only complaint was the area by the cabin could have been maintained a little more. It was hard to walk around and get close to the water. But it didn't stop him from fishing at least twice a day. There is a family of deer living close by and they visited us every evening. And you could hear coyotes but never saw any. I would highly recommend this cabin.
