The Hummingbird Cottage is one of five cottages located at the foot of Canadohta Lake. Canadohta Lake is Pennsylvania's second-largest natural lake, with nearly three miles of shoreline. Activities include fishing, birdwatching, minigolf, roller rink, miniature golf, parks, swimming, pontoon boats/ kayaks, and paddle boards. The Hummingbird is great for a family vacation or a work/play destination. It has use of the 100 feet of private lakefront access with a great view of the lake and sunsets.
The Hummingbird Cottage sleeps seven people. It is 50 feet from the lake, and it has 2 bedrooms - 1 full size and 1 bunk with single top and full bottom, and a pull-out sofa. It has 1 bathroom, a kitchen with a range, a refrigerator, and a small porch. There is a pavilion for outside dining/picnics, and it is shared with the other 4 tiny cottages equipped with a charcoal grill (charcoal not provided) and a propane grill (propane provided). There are two shared fire rings at lakefront and there is parking on-site for 1 vehicle only. There is no TV, but we have Wi-Fi. There are no air conditioners nor central heating, but they have a house fan, room fans and heaters. Come and ‘disconnect’ with us the good old rustic living way!
