Firstly, the Hotel doesn’t provide WiFi. The tap in the room completely loose fitting, sometimes it comes out easily from the socket. In spite of this lack of service the Hotel doesn’t allow you an hour of late chek-out. The staff in the reception with whom I requested an hour late chek-out came out as extremely rude and unprofessional. I’ll think many times before recommending the property to any of my acquaintance.

Best weekend location near Kolkata

This is one of the finest located Hotels near Kolkata. View is excellent, Hotel architecture is awesome and one can spend a nice weekend here which is only 65 kms. from Kolkata. Nice well maintained lawn, comfortable swimming pool, comfortable room size and each room is having attached balcony. Improvements are needed in following areas:- 1. Approach road - it is very bad and needs to be converted into a hard top one. Otherwise, during rainy season, it will become dangerous to negotiate. 2. Some essential furniture like dressing table and study table be provided. 3. Housekeeping has to be improved in line with national norms. 4. Ambiance in the dining hall has to be improved. 5. Also serving of tea and snacks in the lawn should be started in the afternoon. 6. For the long term, attached toilet should be redesigned to include the wash basin inside it.

Nice hotel with excellent room service staff.

Nice hotel with very spacious rooms. Very comfortable. Excellent room service staff. Pleasant drive from Kolkata except the last 0.5 KM. And it has a lift (unlike what EXPEDIA site states). Food was superb Bengali cuisine. However, there are serious issues and communication gaps between Expedia and hotel accounts. At the time of checking out, I was told that I have 'not paid' the room tariff to Expedia because Expedia had instructed them to collect the money from me. This soured the entire three days' of a very pleasant stay.
