" After 3 weeks of backpacking I got to Ukulhas, and I'm very glad that I chosed Beach Residence for my stay. I was greeted at the ferry by Afaaq and soon I started feling the relaxed Maldivian way of life. The guesthouse is just in front of the sea and it has a few rooms, which gives more serenty to the place There are few options for breakfast, but I keep having the great Maldivian dishes they would prepare in the morning. "Anfangs recht freundliches Personal, was sich jedoch schnell änderte. Wir bekamen kaputte Schnorchelsachen von der Hotelleitung (Adam), von denen es garnicht genug für das schon kleine Hotel gab. Als wir über Adam den Zugang zum Fitnessstudio der Insel arrangierten, riss er uns das Geld aus der Hand. Zudem bekam ich als Frau ein ungutes Gefühl von ihm, mit meinem Freund konnte er jedoch scherzen. "Una excelente atención personal. Siempre dispuesto a ayudar. Todo muy fácil con fazel el dueño. Resolvió todas mis dudas, aunque no habláramos bien inglés. Una pena que no supiéramos inglés para compartir más cosas. Y akram muy amigable y siempre dispuesto a ayudar. La única pega y no es del establecimiento, es la suciedad en la playa, que afea el paraíso que es ukuhlas"

"Wonderful staff and the guest house. It is a real pleasure to stay here as the place is clean, and every morning the staff cleans and sprays the place during the complimentary breakfast they offer. The ambience is also great as the bathroom has blue lighting in addition to regular lighting."

"The stay was comfortable. The breakfast staff were friendly & helpful . The manager was very helpful when he was there , which was not often we gather because of Ramadan . Nevertheless he should have support staff so there is always somebody in reception to help the hotel guests. As this was our first visit to the Maldives would have been nice to get some information. The hotel guests during breakfast time gave us some information and also that the hotel had snorkelling gear which was useful to...
