"Our stay here was fantastic. It is in a remote area but a good base to explore from. The drive and the views all around are spectacular. Its a lovely area of Germany. The hotel staff are super friendly and make you feel very welcome. Thank you David for some great suggestions of places to visit. The room was pleasant and very spacious. There is an amazing spa a short walk from the hotel which a real treat at the end of a day exploring. "

"Good restaurants, especially breakfast and the Biergarten. Good for walks and cycling and touring with car. Berncastel Kues 5mins, bit of a disappointment except fabulous Zylinderhaus museum. Air conditioning a bit poor, but not a problem as it was a cool week in July!"

"Very nice spa hotel with extra helpful staff and wonderful service. The room was very hot with no AC on entry, but a fan was provided and opening the window allowed fresh air in which cooled the room over night. There was a balcony with a beautiful view of the castle. A bottle of wine along with two chocolates and a welcome drink at the bar were offered on arrival, and a bag with water and snacks was provided when leaving. Delicious drinks at the bar as well.
